so i had my car lifted up and had it running because i was having issues with the transmission and whatnot. well when i shifted into 4th gear, like the whole rearend was shaking and my dad said it looked like the driveshaft my be bent some. any one have this problem before? dont wanna ruin...

when we had the 4:11's in the challenger, it shifted like that too. but then when i put the 3:23's in it, the shifts took longer. what gears are you running? maybe that has something to do with it. dave

Ok, so like i put the rearend back in and stuff, but didnt put the axles in cuz i didnt have the axle flange gaskets. well now i need them, and i've gone to several parts stores, all having to special order them. anyone know where to get them or like the part number or specs or anything. because...

Well i was gonna give it to my dad to use on the roadrunner, but I'm guessing that those leaf springs are still the original. so i might get the s/s ones. which ones should i get, because they have the 2800#(P4120863/64) or the 3000-3200#(P3412002/03) ones. Thanks, Dave

I finally put the third member back in the cuda today. ive been meaning to do it for the like 3 months. but i ordered a mopar adjustible pinion snubber, tryed putting it up in the there, doesnt fit. its too big, so i dont know what im gonna do with that. dave

Yea, my u-joints are the small ones because when i swapped the case outta the challenger to put in my cuda, i got the one bolted up in the challenger and the drive shaft wouldnt fit. dave

Well I just found out that it also has 4.10's in it, so im pretty freaking stoked cuz this has saved me a couple hundred bucks. Dave

I took them both out today and they match up, so now I gotta swap everything over. Dave

Ok, so Im thinking of taking the sure grip out of the Challenger, (985 case, aka, 742) with my 741 case. My dad said the to see if the splines(i think?) or whatever were the same and matched up. Just wondering if I'll have any problems with this. Thanks, Dave

I checked out the rear end after school and it is an 8 3/4, but I'm still confused by the gears, but whatever, haha.

I'm pretty sure its a 8 3/4, and I'm not too sure about the diff. thing, it doesnt have a posi or anything.

Ok, so I had the car jacked up today putting tranny fluid in it and decided to check out the gears. Well the driveshaft only went around 1 1/2 times and the wheel went around once. Does anyone know what this is or what gears they might be? My dad kinda thought it was weird and so do I. Thanks
