    8.75 from Coronet

I put the 8 3/4 rear from my Coronet on my Duster for a while. It worked well. just move the perches in a 1/2". The Duster has the bigger wheel wells so it was nice for adding about an 1 1/2" back spacing for bigger tires. It will work fine. Most likely has the 741 case but that's fine.

OK, so I thought I had a sure grip for my 8 3/4 742 center, I pulled the 489 4:10 cuz I sold it and just for the heck of it tried to insert the axle from my b-body rearend in to the sure grip that I will be installing and it appeared the diameter of the axle was, lets say 1/8" larger than the...

    Question on Changing pinion yoke

I just had my rearend built last year (less than 500 miles on it) and want to chage the pinion yoke to 1350. Since it is newly rebuilt, can I just remove the current yoke and put the new one on without replacing anything else? The rear is still in the car.

    B body 8 3/4 into a body

Mine is a 65 b-body Coronet rear in my 72 Duster and it gives a little extra back spacing to work with. All you need to do is move the perches in, 1/2" on both sides but it sounds like you may be going in further if you relocate the springs. Stock A body would be 43" on center.

It is auto and I have a loop to install already. The shaft I have I took off my 65 Coronet 318 poly car.
