It has the spacers that clear the lip on the pan, even so the bracket isn't a right angle so it does stick out some as shown in the 1st picture.

I think there's a right angle fittings that the threaded rod screws in and mounts to the lever. I try and take a picture of mine. As if I remember right the bracket that bolts under the pan looks like it's at the correct angle. I have a Promatic 2 in my car.

If your talking about the bracket under the dash, believe those are would be 5/6 studs there are 2 of them

To answer your question is "yes" if the LSD is in working order IMO. But as some of us have been saying you can get everything new for not much more that.

Doesn't the 742 have larger bearing and it has a course spline input shaft. I would think it's stronger then a 489?

Parts are more available for the 489 case

You can buy a new aftermarket case for around $250-300

The Barracuda looks pretty complete, is it a rust bucket, and are you saying it not worth saving?

They may effect your ground clearance. When mounted behind the headers it puts in the middle of the car. They were on my 73 Challenger and they scraped on everything:eek:
