    I made a sheet metal bracket that wrapped around the dash pad. It went under the top pad in the front about 2 inches. then folded back around the pad. formed it to go to a hole the previous owner had drilled in the face of the dash just to the right of the cluster.

    Here's my set up. Slips under the front of the pad. Wraps around it and you can either drill one hole in just under the pad. Or use the upper right screw from the cluster.

    You sould only need some bushings to tighten it up. The one on the bracket that comes offthe tail housing is the one that wears out the worst. If the linkage from the shifter to the trans is worn. You could wire feed weld the worn spots or even replace it. The aftermarket has that linkage...

    I take it you don't have the orignal trunk mat? Try to find some heavy paper or light duty cardboard. Use it in parts to go around the curves. Put the pieces together and lay it out over the carpet. It has worked for me. Good luck.

    I got a Grant 870 on the Duster. It's 13.75 around. It works pretty good even with out power steering. Just a little more effort at slow speeds. Parking lots!

    I belive that if you only use the car for racing, go ahead and ditch it. But if any street driving is done in cool weather keep it. It will come in handy on the cool nites and mornings.

    Well here you go guys. Got the seats redone. Matches the rear seat great. Only problem is a slight pucker on the right side of both head rests. Should come out after they get used some. Haven't done seats this old in a lone time. Did alot of 70's seats back in the 70's.LOL!
