I used that for my head unit. For speakers I just went with 2 6x9’s in the back.

I ran out of time and didn’t get to full with it after that. I did pull the battery out of my old mans mustang to make sure it wasn’t an issue with the battery.

Got it on and wired up in about an hour with plenty of distractions. Turned the key and nothing happened. Now I get to figured that out.

The car had a mini starter on it a few years ago so if all goes well the wires will still work.

Typically when I install a new starter I am taking the old one off and putting the new one in its place so I know what wires go where. I am starting from scratch so what wire goes in which terminal. I am using a starter off a truck so the terminals are stacked instead of side by side. Thank you.

Bad news. Took it out for a drive and the gauge was good the whole time. Got to a buddies and popped the hood and more antifreeze on the radiator. Going to make some runs tomorrow to get a new sensor.

I did add coolant last week to it. I also managed to get some pliers on the sensor cap so it is snug. The cap looks good and I took it for a little shorter drive today but let it idle for about ten minutes in the garage. The gauge stayed at the halfway mark and it never puked coolant. Tonight...

The gauge raises at a fairly normal rate. If I hope in and drive into town it is warm in about the same distance as my other vehicles but the needle just stays at the halfway point.

They sell the heat sleeves at most pepboys. I put those on all wires that are close to the headers.

I have a buddy with one on his rzr and if I remember correctly it says not for highway use on the box. Meaning it isn't DOT approved. This is a good thing in my opinion because you would be seriously hurting on coming traffics vision. I know you think you will shut them off when you see a car...
