    Skinny Steelies

Seems like Coker also had 15 x 5 steel wheels in at least one style , I have 15 x 5 cop wheels on the front of my 73 Duster , with 15 x 8 on the rear. Nice combo , I think the 15 x 4 is just too narrow for me. Frank Long The Wheel Guy

    Specialty Wheel (Mopar Rallyes)

Specialty Wheel as a company has not existed since 2020 , when Coker killed my deal and wiped them off the net. Coker has owned Specialty for a number of years and has some kind of vested interest in WV. For the last few years all the magnums , ralleys and steel wheels are made in the plant in...

Upgrading to 15' wheel vintiques series 63

Just as soon as you take the wheels from the box , lay a straight edge across the back of each wheel and check the backspace. A few years ago I bought 2 wheels from Jegs and from Summit , both pair were not as I ordered , they were anywhere from 1/8 to 1/4 more backspace and each pair where not...

    Home made 15 x 10 with 5 on 4 1/2 b.c. and dog dish hubcaps.

I have a good number of the 15 inch wheel centers , these are brand new stampings. The stamping was made from a CAD drawing a friend of mine did , using a 15 inch wheel and adding around the outside area , past the nubs to get to a 13.25 total measurement. They are 13.25 plus 1/16 across the...

    Steel wheels

Ok , then which is it , dogdish caps ( just covers the lugs ) or full wheel covers ( covers everything ) ?? There is a way to make a 14 inch wheel cover fit a 15 inch wheel. Lots of work and not cheap. Welding and you cut up a few 14 inch wheels , front and back. Frank

    Steel wheels

The early A bodies had 9 inch caps , I have sold a number of the flying saucer caps , at least that's what they looked like to me. Frank

    Steel wheels

Now I have never seen a 13 inch small bolt ( 4 inch ) pattern rim that will accept a 10 inch dogdish hubcap , this wheel is off a 62 Lancer you say. Lancer was the small car correct , not like the 62 Dart , which was a B body , correct. Frank

    Home made 15 x 10 with 5 on 4 1/2 b.c. and dog dish hubcaps.

Being you are able to do the work, do you know of anyone in the area that would want some of my wheel centers to make wheels, to use the early 10 inch dogdish caps ??

    Home made 15 x 10 with 5 on 4 1/2 b.c. and dog dish hubcaps.

Hey good to see you are still here. I am the guy that had the 10 inch dogdish cap wheel centers stamped and I made sure that they still included the flange to weld to , like the factory wheels. To me the flat flanges provide more area to weld to , but considering I don't even know how to weld...

    Home made 15 x 10 with 5 on 4 1/2 b.c. and dog dish hubcaps.

This is an old thread and the guy that did this may not be on this site any more. I am just wondering how much of the center flange was left to weld to. I mean he went from 13.25 down to 12.625. Was there anything left to weld to ??? I wonder , Frank

Question about chrysler rallye wheel viniques and a disc conversion

The 14 inch factory small bolt wheels are 12.25 across where the wheel center is welded to the outer band. Then it flairs out , but it may not be enough. The small bolt 15 inch steel wheels that I used to get from Coker were 13.25 at the welded area , I am pretty sure. I will have to get one out...

1970 DUSTER WITH DISC BRAKE CONVERSION WHEEL HELP

Myself I would use a 15 x 6.5 factory ralley on the front. The 15 x 7 is to wide and the 15 x 6 , there is no trim ring for the 15 x 6 that matches a ring for the rear wheels. If you buy any aftermarket wheel , measure the backspace on each wheel , to make sure they are the same , correct...

Any Magnum 500's on a blue dart?

I don't doubt that a person told you the made small bolt Magnum 500 wheels. What I do doubt , is they would pay for the new stamping to make the wheel center in small bolt and make a brand new , smaller sized center cap , for the wheel , that will have a very small selling possibility. Also they...

    quick question.short answer plz

Hmmm I had a 15 x 8 ralley , custom made 4 5/8 backspace , with a G-60-15 , on the back of a stock 8 3/4 rear , 68 Valiant. On the back of my 70 Duster , these same wheels and tires almost hit the springs. One side of my Duster is different than the other by a good 1/8 of an inch. Frank

    quick question.short answer plz

I once had a pair of 15 x 8 ralleys made for a customer , with a 5 1/4 backspace so he could use a 15 x 7 ralley trim ring and make it look right. He had the room inside to make it work. Frank

    Mopar Ralley SBP value

14 inch big bolt ralley are very common and don't go for much , unless they are 14 x 6. Small bolt , harder to find , but you need to watch for stretched lug holes and mushroomed lug holes. Always look at the back side of a small bolt ralley , check the lug holes. I have both , small and...

What are the front rims and tires?

Most , but not all factory steel wheels changed from 3 tab ( nubs or whatever you want to call them ) to 4 tab , late 70 early 71. After dealing in Mopar steel wheels for many years , that is what I have found. Don't know the reason , maybe some else can answer that. Aftermarket mostly makes 3...

Where to buy Mopar Ralley wheels?

One thing you want to watch , about small bolt pattern ralley wheels , the lug holes have a tendency to pull toward the backside of the wheel. It would be a good idea to check all cores , check the backside of the lug holes for a ridge or a volcano effect of the lug holes. Frank

1975 Swinger slant 6 Rallye wheels from Coker

Where to buy Mopar Ralley wheels?

Both those backspace numbers you listed will work just fine. Factory backspace on a 14 x 5.5 is 3 5/8". Backspace on the factory 15 x 7 is 4 1/4". So their fine. Frank
