Get an Asus, or if you are very hardcore go for a Sager/clevo. Asus has very few lemons and for the most part tend toward the better priced end. Look around a bit, but just remember, you get what you pay for.

They are good trucks, engine wise either engine is good too. I would think a manual tranny would be your best option but I don't know how hard it would be to find a manual one.

Well I am dissapointed that I was born in the wrong era for cars, but if I had to choose a 1996 it would be a Dodge stealth R/T. All wheel drive twin turbo with like 300 some HP.

Ya engine block tables aint light let me tell ya. We have a 318 block table that we put, thats right, in the basement down some stairs. Now I want a couch like this to complete the deal, maybe some other stuff too.

I saw something like that at a car show a while back. But they did it with the front section of a Boss mustang, thats an expensive friggen couch.

I would step away from the thought of a 5.7 hemi. A small block would fit beautifully in there, they were made that way. Although with some modification you can apparently fit a 440 in there.
