Thanks!Happy birthday!
Thank you!Happy Birthday young feller!!
I tried to buy this car when I was looking for my Colt. One of my buddy's just picked up one of Bob Mayerle's Rod Shop Colts. He's tearing it down over Labor Day weekend and we're inspecting the frame for integrity and marking which bars will need to be moved around.
Much more to come, but just wanted to share this with you guys. Pretty awesome piece of history. Very cool to work on.

I think the engine is still undecided, but the transmission will be a Liberty.I tried to buy this car when I was looking for my Colt.
He wanted 60k then, it was out of my price range.
But what a great Colt!
What do you plan for it?
Covering the insulation.No insulation?
Thanks Craig!Happy belated birthday
I've never heard of that type insulation. Who sells that?Covering the insulation.
It's the roll vinyl style.
I don't want to poke holes in it.
Early November. 11/02/24Nice trip…!
When is the event in Tulsa ? I am moving there… The metroplex has turned into a zoo
I would kill for a 1.40!Launching from the clutch pedal stop is critical to getting consistent results from the 'tamer!
I would embrace that dead hook, also get aggressive with launch rpm.
Assuming a 1.40 60' target and your gearing with 32" tires? If the clutch slips about .80sec during launch, that would draw the engine down to about 4600rpm @ lock-up. I would want to launch a couple thousand rpm higher than that if possible.

Heck y'all were in my neck of the woods.Quick post, I am still alive!
Just back from a 21 day South West trip with friends.
