I really am! It's come a long ways. But there's so much more to do. Knockin the list down though!

Next up, I think I'll tackle the gas tank and sending unit. Then there's this. Front will be another combination deal. Headlight harness is somewhat in tact.

Then there's this monster. And his friends.

Didn't feel like messing with the gas tank today. Decided she needs to look a little more like a car.

Replaced the plastic bushing with the well-documented bearing between the column and the shaft. Thanks FABO!

I've been thinking about it and finally decided the best way to go at the steering shaft and the U-joint. I drilled the U-joint for a 3/8 tap, the steering shaft pin hole was perfectly drilled for a 3/8 tap. So I tapped the U-joint and steering shaft 3/8 - 16 installed a grade 8 bolt through it, then put a lock nut and red Loctite on the other side. I think it will work fine.

That's the way mine is-------

Looking good! You made a lot of progress since last time I saw your post. Great looking fuel tank, mine was full of holes on the bottom.
Thanks!
After 40+ years they usually are. Or full of crap. Definitely not the norm.

Got the TTI headpipes installed. Thanks @318willrun for the video! It sold me. The passenger side jumped on all by itself.

Might have to clearance for the idler arm a little.

The driver side was a little trouble. In and out a few times to make some room for the pitman arm.

All said and done, they fit pretty well they only took a couple hours to put on. I for the life of me don't know why TTI won't just make these all the way in 2.25 inch. I think they would fit a lot better. What's the advantage to using 2.5 inch pipe? You're using exhaust manifolds, how much better could they flow at 2.5?

Now, where to exit? I still like the old school in front of the back tires.

Wanted to test fit the rest of the exhaust this afternoon so I had to make a decision pretty quick. Out the side in front of the back tires, or all the way out the back. Guess I'll just have some extra pipes laying around from the Jegs kit.

Will pick up band clamps and hangers tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get the exhaust finished up.

While I was finishing up the exhaust manifold gaskets, I had my son gap and swap the plugs.
