I did not goof. I was comparing the GTO aginst the 68 Road Runner not an A body.
If I compared the GTO aginst an A body it would be aginst a 68 Hemi Dart.

Im working 7 days a week, fishing after work 3 or 4 days a week and trying to explain to my women that after all this work sitting by the lake, catching fish and drinking beer is totally normal.
I feel like im going a thousand miles an hour in three different directions at once, while not making any one happy while working 2 jobs and trying to keep my lady happy....

The reason I'm in this is to get my cars back together and do some cruising and racing. I will race with a 13 second motor to debug the car. Then go to a 12 second motor. Then go to an 11 second motor. Debugging the car as I go in to the 10s is my goal. Street driven and drag racing differant engine combs is just good O fun to me. NA no gases no turbo. Would like to try a blower some day. lol
So it aint over yet for me, it's just starting to get good.
I've got the engine and tranny in the car now. Just need to find a few missplaced parts and my car will be back together agin.
The reason for the differant motors is once they are running like I want them to they will get yanked to go in one of my other vehicles.
Stephens small block race in 2020 will take multiple entrees.... Durangos to Darts, Dusters to Trucks...

Nope to dope and ugh to drugs...
What I want to do with my 318 in the swinger. Not my photos btw. I can find a stronger rear but still keep the high gears. Get to cruising speed and the boost lowers, good mpgs and power.
Don't be posting other peoples stuff or J peg will go ballistic !!!!
