Supposed to be 54 tomorrow that'll be nice, it will melt off a bunch more so it can snow agin later in the week.

It’s supposed to be up in the 60’s today, the snow will disappear.
But rain for the next 4 days.
So I guess flooding is next.

yeah, the cycle continues.... next season will bring us the heavy rain, or drizzle for days, and then the possibility of hail and tornado's.... but somewhere in the mix of all this, the drag way opens... changes are made to cars.... and the good times will roll. :)

But Fall, Fall is absolutely gorgeous in my area, and the air quality takes a turn for the better, and then the holidays, snow, and a return to sender....

 I better start Christmas Shoppin' LOL

Hit 66 degrees here today, got a lot done.
Kinda pissed at myself, with all the extreme weather changes, my fresh turned crank for my dumpster 318 has surface rust specks on it.
Time to get this pos assemble.

Snow, then rain was my worst fear. Every 2 or 3 years I'd get flooded BAD.

That's the main reason I'm selling...

This plus rain is no bueno....

I can think of a bunch more reasons to get out of Cali.... :D
And just think, when this weather breaks, we'll be talk'n about cars instead of the weather .. LOL

Jababa... got to think'n of what you said.... so I went and looked at the new scheduled. As you said, 6th volunteer day. 13th, volunteer and TnT. And the following is the swap meet/TnT.

They getting a head start this year by about 2 weeks. I hope the weather cooperates. I usually bring something down and give it a go during this time..... might be a good time to bring my wife's '77 Ramcharger down... LOL.

Trying to load the schedule for Cordova.

nice going I remember when I did my 596 heads oh man I was covered in them LOL and then I remember using a quarter-inch tap to tap the smog plugs so I could put little plugs in there and broke off the top in side there! Oh man that was a lesson learned!

Thanks. Yeah, I'll tap the smog holes. I have about 14 more hours just with the Dremel, and probably another 4 hrs lapping. I've done enough these that the process is straight forward, it's the time... LOL.

Mine was my first and only and it was a big mess...

My machine shop at the time gave me a bunch of pointers and sent me on my way but when I brought them back I went ahead and paid for Just 2 hours of professional grinding. Ho
Have to have a vacuum cleaner on the opposite side of the port your working on.
I wore a dust mask and let it fly...

LOL...…. that was me on my first set... :D Wow. I tasted it, ended up having a eye doctor pull 6 slivers out of my eye....

Needless to say, that was years ago. I've not done it like that since...….

There are several sets of heads I ported out there..... Can't remember them all :realcrazy: Perhaps it's time for a new challenger Scat Pak and hang up the Dremel.... like an old gunfighter hanging up his guns... LOL

I'm still left a lot of room to Tinker on the car over the next few years and obviously I could use a gasket match looking down the tunnel ram here.

The only problem is I think the next time those heads come off they're not going back on. I've had my aluminum head dream for quite some time..
