we have a saying around here that goes if you don't like the weather just wait 10 minutes. That's why I'm not getting crazy on that truck at this very minute and trying to push snow off of it and go nuts. likely by tomorrow morning the rain will come in and wash all the snow off and then another day or two it'll be all sunny. but even better than that they're supposed to get like 4 or 5 feet of snow tonight up by Mount Hood. That's an hour and 15 minutes drive to some great snowmobiling. I've been waiting for it to get close by and not having to travel cuz the other side of the state and spend so much time and money to go for a ride.

Have you ever seen this car at Cordova?
This stripe was on it when I bought it from a guy in Chicago several years ago. He told me this car had been raced in Iowa over along the river somewhere.
It had a stick welded roll cage in it and the subframes were tied together. I had a chassis Builder look it over and he told me that roll bar was not NHRA legal so I had him put in a chromoly cage.

I think (I could be wrong) that a guy that worked in the slip booth used to have that car parked on the return road by the booth.... But man, that was years ago. The color and roll bar seem correct, but I can't say the stripes ring a bell.....
P.S. - My '85 318 started in the sub zero weather we had with no choke.... you'll have to do better than "318won't start" LOL
Put 2 new Farm & Fleet Platinum batteries into the dually yesterday. So now that 7.3 will start in cold weather again. I guess we could call it 7.3willrun. A real bargain at $251.00.
Saturday it will get four brand new tires on the rear end. Got to get this truck ready to hit the road. Would like to go to Indy cylinder head first weekend in March.

Maybe you should change them to won'trunfast. 318won'trunfast, 360won'trunfast you get the idea. lol

I just heard from YR today, he said get ready, he's gonna start cracking.
I guess his mother in law is doing much better. His family duties has been taking a toll on him.
