Restore the ash tray and installed factory tube rivets
For sure! Getting close. Actually have a list of what needs to be done.Very nice build with a great back story. I'll bet you can hardly wait to take it out again.
Oh man that’s a bummer. But I am sure the new motor will be bad ***.Yeah Dave, I know how the "To Do" list goes. When I was trying to finish my bracket car for it's first voyage, the more I took off of the top list, the more that got added to the bottom. I finally prevailed & got her out until it swallowed a valve. Now I'm building a 416 stroker & the list starts all over.
I am going with this wheel. Just mot happy with the wheel adapter. If I don’t use it on my M code I will let you know.are you going to be restoring this steering wheel? mines going to need all kinds of work to get it usable

Thanks Rich,WOW Dave, really looks good, nice job with that dash....Rich
On a recent Hemi /A body build I found that the newer offset master cylinder adapters are only off set 3/4". The one on my silver Duster, purchased years ago from Mancini has a 1" offset. The 20+ year old offset on the Flash is 1" offset also. The extra 1/4" is almost required to be able to remove the #7 plug. I have been unable to find 1" offsets and might have to make a few incorporating another small modification to my version.
BTW...I like your sway bar bracket / lower core support brackets.
The rack and tie rod threads are tight. I screw them in and it's tight, no up and down movement. The one inch shock spacer the male and female ends are loose. The threads is not tall enough to take up the space. I believe thats called the pitch of thread. I took a video.I must have missed that comment. I have never experienced a loose fit. .Is it loose in just the tie rod end? Just trying to isolated the issue. Tie rod thread or adapter thread.
If it is thread pitch, you might try running a dye over the tie rods.
