Now that I've got all the new brake lines in and system bled its onto the heater box. Picked up ah451 blower motor for the heater box yesterday. For anyone that doesn't know this is a counter measure for blower motor contact to the 440 valve cover on passenger side.

Hey, it says "Torrington" on it! Must have been made in my home town at "The Torrington Mfg. Co." Of course, the Airotor division is not here anymore.

Heater box back in , lots of clearance . Now fighting with assembly/ fitment of this retrosound Redondo into the dash / face plate. Not impressed so far with this unit .

just looked at the pic again, have you got a heat shield under the fuel pressure regulator? it's awful close to the hot exhaust there.
neil.
ps nice job on the heater motor fit

Finished fuel line from reg to carb and heater hose install yesterday . Emailed Retrosound and they sent the right assembly/ install directions as well.

Retrosound Redondo assembled finally after cutting two of the brackets as stated in the right assembly directions . Did some fit tests to Dart factory face plate , roller knobs don't fit real great ( gaps top / bottom) . Will post a pic when all installed and shimmed.

Retrosound unit in the dash , shimmed / fitted. Looks ok , hopefully the sound quality and longevity is good after all that aggravation. On to the center dash speaker.

No worries, I have it on good authority that lock down is getting extended again until at least June 2nd. I'm going cruising for groceries anyhow...

Just throwing this small rant out there for anyone thinking of buying from Gibby's Electronics, St Catherine's, Ontario. Ordered a fairly pricey order of Electronics from them for the Dart with a vented sub box . Non vented sub box arrived so I called and basically they are doing nothing. Brutal place , just used car salesmen. Also they sent the wrong subs so I made a deal with them to keep those to save the hassle and found out after the fact that I could have got them cheaper at my local Electronics store. Double bone . Don't buy from these guys .
