Woo Hoo,it worked !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cannot see the video sadly
you gotta set the video permissions to 'everyone'. if its just 'friends' or 'friends of friends' then thats who can see it.
that's what i did to post mine.
(gotta do an update on mine soon - got mah new white walls at last!)
hmm... seems really big... for giggles you may want to run a stock set of rocker/shafts, and install a pressure gauge in the end, let it run and check it...
then do it for the rollers, i would be curious as to how much pressure is being lost and how much oil is shooting out...
OK,so it's been a while since any updates, but this morning the Buzzin Half Dozen went off on a flatbed to a new resting place for a few!Not sure how long yet, but at least it's in good hands to finally get finished !! Due to physical and health reasons, this tired ole phart has to know when to say when !! So I when !Brought it back to my engine builder who will be working on it as he can between his full time cars !!So I'm going to hurry up and wait, and pray it will be done for my birthday !!:-({|=
OK,one step forward, two steps back !! Another problem that I have to wait 'till next week to get resolved !!!Ahhhhhhh !!!
Do not dispair, my good man....
if it were easy, everyone would do it!
Our car has been virtually "finished" for three months, and we have worn out the float bowl retaining bolts removing and replacing the float bowls to gain access to the jets and power valve because the A/F ratio meter refuses to give us a number that will work for us both in boost and at cruise. If the cruise is right, the boost is lean, and if the boost A/F number is right, it is cruising so rich that the gas will wash down the cylinder walls...
Count your blessings; you don't have to deal with THAT!
You'll get there... patience, my man....
"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
