73' B3 340 Duster pro touring build

yea...but can you answer without a big grin on your face?

Looks really nice Ross. Maybe Denny can carry it around at the Nats with a $300 price tag on it :D

$300? I thought it was $150? That was really funny. the only regret I have is I didn't have a camera to film the people's faces as we walked past them! In fact, one guy looked so distraught that Denny ran back and told him it was just a joke. I thought that dude was going to hang himself! LOL

To clarify for those not in on the joke.....

Last year at the Nat's Denny went shopping for a nice Sharktooth
grill at the swap meet.

He found and bought a perfect one - had to pay $1000.00 for it!

He talked the vendor into giving him an extra big blank price tag
"to fool the wife" (she wasn't really there).

He took a Sharpie and wrote a $275.00 on the tag and then, with
the price tag dangling like the one on Minnie Pearl's hat, walked all
the way back to the Show side of the track with the grill over his
shoulder.

He was accosted at every turn with offers to "double his money"
etc. There were guys chasing him even as he reached our tent
and sat down.

I quickly took the grill and locked it in our trailer before he carelessly
destroyed any more lives, ambitions or aspirations.

Mark and Denny were laughing their a$$es off.......So cruel!

You have to admit ..... it was the best prank of the year!

I heard that between this stuff and the drinks mixed up by 76orangewagon
& Dad.....You may want to rest up for a week or so before the Nats!

That's exactly how I remember it.

Fantastic looking grill, but how much reworking are you going to do to make it fit that tractor?:coffee2:

Just poking your ribs there Denny.:coffee2:

looks nice...I was waitin for Ross to surprise us with a "custom" look

For the going price of a professionally restored Sharktooth grille this one will be left alone...although now that I have a pattern a "Custom" billet grille would be easy to design and make !!!!! There are certain area's of the car that must remain to keep the cars character, I can't wait for the first outing when some kid ask's his Dad "what kind of car is that"? And he respond's with" looks like a Nova to me......"

I'm sure he's got a "Surprise" or two left for us.:coffee2:

Yep thats it, just Two........ no more and no less.....for this week.
Then just wait till I turn the CNC mill and CNC Lathe loose on the engine compartment and interior, there might be one or two there also.

you can leave it stock and some moron will still call it a nova....

good one....but those remarks always make me snicker....reminds me of what Ray Romones (Everybody Loves Raymond) wife would say....Idiot!

Like some of the idiots here that post build pic's of Bicycles and Fords...Some people just don't get it.

Well all the Rear Bumper welding is done I have a little more fine tuning and have to make the side filler panels to make a 1/4" gap between body and bumper. Once the exhaust tips arrive and there mounting brackets are welded in place I will send the bumper off to get professionally straightened and Re-Chromed.

That's looks great!

My wife put a note on my Duster during a garage sale that read, "Inquire about the car.". Took me half a day to notice after every guy asked me how much. Drove me nuts!

Riddler

Heres a couple more from different angles.....I have Stainless Oval tips to fill them hole in
