That's some one, committed to a build.,.., The hard parts, are there... can the owner ,of the parts ,be patient?
It takes time,to massage aftermarket parts....

Wow!!! Thats an awful lot of work. It looks really awesome. Dayum my cuda was rough, but this charger was really bad. You guys did some top notch work on it.

When does your son come back stateside for good? I bet he's itchin to drive the wheels off it.

Wow. Just ... wow.

We've got a lot more pictures elsewhere but these were ones I'd had on Facebook. There are a lot of pics of parts we'd bought that won't get used now that Spence ordered that KB Hemi.

Spence was a lot happier when there was steady progress being made over the first few years. Changes of direction on motor, transmission, fenders, etc caused delays and the Charger has spent most of the last 3 years just sitting while I worked on other things.

I like your use of a chalkboard. I do something similar. I have a list in a spiral bound notebook. One list for body, one for engine, one for drivetrain, one for components, and one for parts. When i get a needed part or finish something, i line it out.

That '67 of yours is sure looking good. It'd be nice to see a thread started that would be a collection of before & after pictures of everybody's builds. I don't know how many restorations started as true junkyard beaters but there have to be a bunch.

Spence has been out of the service for quite awhile. He used the GI bill to go through tech college and is working as a controller for the Des Moines area power company now. - After getting out of the Army he sold his '68 Chevelle, bought the '70 Roadrunner (that we're still working on) and a 2010 Challenger SRT8 rebuilder that we've already finished. He went full blown Mopar crazy.

If I don't keep a list of things that need to be finished things slow down. It seems that I always run into some obstacle that keeps me from finishing the part I'm currently working on. Whenever that happens, - a glance at the board tells me to move on to the next thing on the list.

This is my buddy's son's 69 Charger both men are artists and very handy and very talented.

Sheesh! That thing was really hurting. - Amazing transformation. I'm a member on DodgeCharger.com also but I haven't been on there for years. I skimmed through all the pages quick but haven't had the time to do more than view all the pics. I'll have to go back and read it all later.
I'm amazed at how much panel splicing they did.
There are so many great restorations out there but the Charger ones have an advantage. - You can put more money into them before you get upside down on your investment.

SNKEBIT is traveling through area today on his way to Hastings, Nebraska. I guess they're racing the Viper again this year. If everything goes right I should be able to meet up with him before he heads back home. It's a long trek from Wisconsin so I hope he does well and is glad he made the trip.

I brought the dually back home today. It's been stored at a buddy's farm ever since the city decided I had too many vehicles here. I was surprised that it fired up without having to charge the battery. SNKEBIT is sort of interested in taking a look at it. Right now his plan is to do some Viper racing in Hastings and then head to Seward to pick up that 383 that I'd posted about earlier. If things work out, he'll swing by here and see if he wants the dually. I tried washing the dirt off of it that had been accumulating as it sat under the trees this last year. I still need to hang the front bumper.
I'm not crazy about selling it and would love to keep it but with all the other projects I'm not sure I'd ever get around to finishing it the way I'd like.
