Buying from afar

-Automatic weapons, extended clips/mags, silencers......all prohibited. Cannot own them.

-Rifles and shot guns.....You need a possession certificate to own one (POL), and an acquisition certificate to acquire/borrow one (PAL). You need to take a course and pass a written and practical exam to get the PAL. No need to register these, but you used to have to. Many rules about mag size, barrel length etc.

-Hand guns are restricted weapons. Lots of hoops to jump through to get a restricted license. Restricted weapons are registered to the owner. Even then, you could only have them at home, or use them at a licensed range. Transportation to and from the range via the most direct route. IIRC, there was a time when you had to get a conveyance permit from the PD to go to a range. (not sure).

-Just recently, it is now illegal to sell restricted weapons (hand guns)...Even if you own it legally. Gun stores were forced to transfer ownership of stock to a personal name and lock them away. If you want to get rid of your restricted weapon, the only course of action is to surrender it to the authorities.

-Recently, there has been a law implemented naming specific firearms that are now prohibited. Check it out.....

List of firearms - Canada.ca

There are pretty strict storage rules for firearms and ammo.......LOL, not in the nightstand next to your bed.

Just some **** off the top of my head :canada:

Not a big fan of the stripes but maybe it will grow on me, or I can change that later.
They're not something I would do, but they are something I've seen in the past on different Chargers. They have a nice period look. Give 'em some time; they might grow on you.

Myself and one friend passed on a car about 20 years back that had pretty wild 1970s street-freak type stripes on it. Neither of us cared for 'em and removing them would've meant a complete respray on what was already an expensive car. A different friend bought the car. Friend #1 and see it pretty regularly now, and we love the stripes. They're very "correct" for how things were in the early '70s and distinguish the car from anything else. I'm still kind of glad I passed, but my buddy is constantly saying, "I should've bought this car. Man, I was stupid."

You can't have a gun for home protection or for a gun club?
Jesus Dan, you can't come into Canada carrying a gun and we can't come into the US carrying a gun... get over it! Trust me, we can protect ourselves...

Pumpkin carving in the yard..... lol

1970 Dodge Charger

The exterior was inspected for cosmetic issues and functionality. There are some chips at the edge of the trunk door (see pictures). The underside has been undercoated, which can hide rust. The window trim and door seals were in good condition, and the glass was free of any obvious damage. Both the headlights and taillights were clear and free of any visible cracks or damage. Panel gaps and shut lines appeared to be normal.

During the interior inspection, the seats showed light wear, which is normal for the mileage. The passenger seat belt was found to be stuck, and the center console displayed wear and tear (see pictures). The blower motor is not functioning, and the carpet shows normal wear consistent with age and mileage. There were no floor mats in the vehicle at the time of the inspection. Additionally, the speedometer and odometer are not working. There were no indications of smoke or unusual odors.

The engine bay and undercarriage components were visually inspected to check for any indications of leakage, deterioration, and fluid conditions. All accessible fluids were at their proper levels and displayed a healthy color. There were no visible signs of leaks or seepages underneath.

A test drive was conducted, during which the vehicle started after a couple of turns on a cold start and then started right up with no issues multiple times afterward. There was no smoke, and the vehicle idled well. Power delivery was smooth, and the steering was good and direct. The vehicle tracked straight, the brakes worked effectively, and the gears shifted without any issues. Additionally, there was no road noise.

The tires were inspected for tread depth and any unusual wear patterns. All four tires are of the same brand and have sufficient remaining tread depth; however, both rear wheels are missing a hubcap, and the front right wheel has some scratches.

Please refer to the detail section and photos for additional information.

Those inspections are definitely worth the money. Your inspector has a good eye.

Great thing is you go into the deal with a ton of information.
