Yep, in front of a Judge after I approched, after he ask " any bodies name hear I did't call", I raised my hand.

40 minutes previouse of that moment I had a situation the I could not leave Imediatly unatended, which caused me to be 27 minutes later for the stand in front of the Judge requirement. I made 5 phone calls to the court house explaining why I would be late while driving and made arrangements for this information to get to the Judge.

Back to standing in front of the Judge, He ask me my name , I told him, he said I have issued a warrant for you after I called your name earlier.

He spoke to the police officer in off tone than I have heard the last 1 1/2 hours of listening to him, Lower, if I remeber Book Him.

Hand cuffed and foot restrained and connected to 11 other prisoners , led to a transport bus with no on side windows, 10 minute drive. Know idea what part of town I am in.
The town is 50 miles north of where I live in Missouri.
Stopped in and was let out , slowly, my legs being shackeled and 1 chain connecting all us criminals made it a differernt step style.

Handcuffed to a wall, left hand , they wanted to know if I wrote with my right hand or left hand I sat there while the prisoneres were feed the escorted to the pods. ( they had 10 pods with each contained 10 double bed cells.

{I will have to continue this later.}

Well, that sucks. Been to jail on stupid things. Overnighters. Yours ranks up there for major bologna. The Judge shouldhave listened to your story and made a decision right there to ethier hear/dismiss your case or jail you.

But he should have listened to why you were not there to begin with.

I know judges hear it all. But that's tuff crackers because that's part of the job's B.S. list of what the judge signed up for.

As far as I'm concerned, he wasted tax payers money and everybody's time.

Sorry to hear.

They should change their name to "Community Collections" not "Corrections"

its all about the $$$

So are ya out now Ken? Where in Missouri are ya? or were ya? What's the end result. Not really big on judges myself. Someone told them that they were better than us commoners.
Small Block

Wow Ken......very sorry to hear you had to go thru this. :pale:

Hope things work out for the best !!

That's BS!!
I had a similar situation where i got arrested/cuffed/stuffed/fingerprinted for failing to pay a $10 seatbelt ticket (which i KNOW i paid but couldn't find the receipt for). Didn't have to go in front of a judge though, just had to have my wife go down to the courthouse and (re)pay the fine. :angry7:
Complete waste of taxpayers $$!

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE "MONEY!!!!! I have a shirt I love to wear to court, it looks like the DEA/FBI, in that it is Navy Blue with Yellow letters on the back J.A.I.L., On the front is says,, Jail For Judges, and has there web site, jailforjudges.com, Boy's and Girls, this is not a FREE country, they have taken the "R" out of free, and we now live in a "FEE"!!! Counrty. Have a group in Roswell New Mexico that are standing up and trying to "claim" their rights, cops don't like them and the DA's and judges hate to see them show up in court, as they are using the "LAW" to fight back, and are doing quite well. There is a national group, the "lawmen.com" check them out they to are fighting the good fight. Go to court, stand mute, they will enter a plea of "Guilty" on your behalf, then go into a court of record, and stand up for your right to be heard, make them spend "MONEY" to prosecute you, and they will start to leave ya alone, don't want to spend the "MONEY or TIME, so they'll go find someone else to "FLEECE"!!
If George, Thomas, Ben, Paul, John, and others could be called out of their graves, I think they would start a revolution, to take back the counrty our government has stolen!!!!!!!! The "LAW" is for everyone, adn we need to make sure "THEY" are held to the same standard as we are, don't ya think?

Dont get too political on us. We hate to move good thread's .Let the man tell his story, your new here so not a biggie. We like to keep the political stuff in the politic's forum. and not to hihjack the thread but check your thread about your convertable and get us some pic's of the part you need for the top.

Don't worry Ken, no one will think less of you. As said before it's all about the money.

Sorry to hear about your situation. That really sucks.

But since you're in there.... can you make me a new set of license plates? :toothy10:

Sorry real bad attempt at humour. Hope you're out soon.

They held him for 7 hours after setting in court that morning
He made it home that night, He will jump in here and fill us in I hope

No one thinks bad about you. These things happen to the best of people. Just last night a coworker ran off a wet road to avoid a guy coming into his lane. Cops came and hauled him to jail for DUI without even giving him a breatholyzer test. Scary.

Fixed that one for ya buddy. LOL we live on the edge and we mopar guys are known to be a lil different. Sorry to hear about your encarceration, I'd say do something aobut the lack of listening on his part but I'm sure you just want to stay the hell away from that court for as long as possible!

I visited a buddy in juvie once.. Not fun... Hope all goes well with you.. I won't think any less with you

at the age of 17 I spent 6 days and 7 nights in jail, everyone would fight over my coffee 8) I was in Dekalb Ill.

Been twice. Not a fun place. 8 hours when I was 18 for fighting with a neighbor while drunk, and 6 hours back 16 years ago for fighting with the ex. We were both violant back then, all I did was grab her arm, but it left a mark. She even protested the police saying she was at fault too, but I still went.:angry7: I was totally sober that time.

Jail free since 93. But I don't trust anyone, not even law enforcement. There human too.

Had an old supervisor, Noel, who was an ex-cop. His policy on domestic disturbances was to haul both parties in. His reason for this: once he got there it was nothing more than a he said she said. By taking in both at the same time, he said, it was amazing how many times the truth actually came out. In your case the truth was out before you were taken in, but he hated the idea that it was always the man's fault and therefore the man should get arrested. He said in his experience once both were in cuffs it usually turned out to be a 50/50 split. We need more cops who think like that.

They have gotten even stricter now. My case was droped. But now it's the states decision and mandatory paperwork$$$$$$$$$. I am not saying what I did was right, far from it. Cooler head's prevail now, and Mary isn't a button pusher. :-D

The thing was she was flipping out over something I said about maybe having some clean clothes for work and she went all Carrie:snakeman: on me. I grab her arm to stop her and left marks, but she was a scrapper. By that time the neighbor had called the police. This whole incident took maybe 5 min. Then the cop put me in the back of the cruiser and it's turned off. It's AUGUST. I though is was going to have a heat stroke, I kid you not. After a couple minutes he gets in and starts the car. That was inhumane and I will never forget how I was treated by law enforcement when I was nothing but cooperative. :angry7:

The cops around where I live seem to be less and less concerned about actual crime and more and more concerned with people's cars being legal to the insurance companies standards. All kinds of crime are on the rise but the police would raher give out speeding tickets and stop in the tim hortons for coffee. lol I've seen a cop ignore a prostitute to give out a traffic ticket.
