Starting my day off with a visit to the tire shop, right drive tires pretty low. Of course it is probably due to the cold weather, but they are going to pull them off anyway

BUT they are closed for valentines day, which is of course next monday THREE whole days after this added closure
(be patient, im going somewhere with this rant)
it just so happens, my oldest has a birthday party on valentines day, at a time frame that would normally fall after school anyway

so i got a text yesterday, an RSVP to the party, one of the moms is not letting her son come to the party in solidarity with the teachers that are staying home today and tomorrow

i cant even wrap my head around that kind of thinking

We still are not allowed a safe 6 there buddy . All the kids wear masks in school etc.

Just finished cleaning the attic in my garage and putting all the spare parts for the Scamp up there.
What a dusty mess that was. Tool box is next then the shelves below the attic.
At the rate I'm going I should be done in about 6 months. LOL

I wish mine was that messy. lol Mine was way worse than that 9 years ago and I moved in at 9 1/2 years ago. I now have a trail to walk only on 1 wall the other 2 walls I would have to climb over stuff and cars.

I don't think a messy garage is a bad deal mostly after seeing the picture of your Hot rod gonna be that you posted a long time ago. I still remember it and would be a sweet build and would love to help on that one.
cars and parts is not messy and if ya could post a picture of that old A or T again I'd love to see it.

It is not on the computer at work so hopefully I can remember to post it after I get home. If not remind me. I hope to get to that before I die. lol

Whats even funnier is how she got there
(Shes the daughter of a friend, I was called in to "rescue" her)

I guess she was out door dashing, and had delivered some food to that address...then when she backed out of the driveway, she didn't back out straight and went right into the ditch

here in the US, we have a national holiday on Washington's birthday, the 15th, that we call presidents day

but since the election was stolen this year, and the man living in the white house now is not our duly elected president, i decided not to acknowledge "president's day" and simply reassign it as an extra day off for valentines day

(made sense in my mind)

Friday is Lincoln's birthday so do you get that day off? I see that Monday is your Presidents Day like you said and here we will be celebrating Family Day which some people get off and some don't. Of course all the Gov, Mailmen, liquor and Beer stores will be closed. So we'll all be getting a long weekend. Too bad we can't go anywhere although our lockdown is starting to reverse because the Covid numbers are dropping.

No, I dont believe we have anything for Lincolns birthday

Things have been somewhat open here too, still not the land of the free as it was a year ago
 
If the temp keeps doping here I'll have to do my annual throw a cup of coffee in the air and watch it not hit the ground kinda thingy. Pretty cool to watch if I can video it and not freeze my *** of at the same time. lol
