Funeral tomorrow. Sister in law's mother not mine. I will try to get my passanger side bucket out this weekend and get pictures. I need it out to seal the floor anyway.
Sorry for your loss. Hate to hear that prayers for your family

Lord forgive me I went to Walmart for brand new tires 215 65 15's. After 45 minutes of standing in line only the third person of the day mind you. I finally got help and took about 10 minutes for me to get my order and give them my rims and another hour! For them to finish. But that I only found out after looking in the shop and seeing them done and asking hey are those my rims and tires? Are they done? Finally someone wandered over there and said yeah they are done. Then another 20 minutes in line at the very least waiting to pay for them. There must have been at least seven or eight employees back there and I say this word very Loosely working.... And of course up at the counter is one lady near retirement learning how to use the computer being taught by somebody who should have retired... It was $136 for two brand new tires mounted and balanced which was pretty good compared to $100 for some used ones...

I think I'm gonna buy those cheep VW tires from Amazon then have the shady tire shop mount em up for 7 bucks.

I let you know if they explode on the hwy.

I thought my head was going to explode! It was just watching Curly Larry and Moe at their best...

Why you teasing me like that?? Uncover that bad boy and take some pics outside where we can see it!! Hahaha
Looks really good! I can't wait to get to that stage.

So a little technical help needed here...
If anybody remembers I got those Spirit of 76 buckets to put in the duster. Again still trying to figure out the brackets just a little bit and now I'm going to use them. I had a friend help me walk the bench seat out just a little while ago and I went to put the bucket seat bracket in where that bench bracket went and I was all this ain't going to fit?? It was sticking out too far close to the door and also it was humped up too much on the out side? Then I noticed under the floor there was holes just inside of those humps for the bucket seat? I'm assuming that's where the line up holes for bucket seats are?

the weather has been pretty rotten here but it was not too bad today but I was working on son of seed truck LOL I had to get that in some kind of condition to post it up for sale. I did get a little work on the duster but I want to get a couple more things done so I can get it outside like you said and get some real pictures of it.

I went thru this years ago when I was gonna put buckets in my dart I'm pretty sure I had to modify the inside bracket and put in longer studs and build it up with washers to level it out. But I was using e body seats they may be different.

These are supposedly the correct brackets LOL but I got them from the swap meet so you know how people will say anything to sell their crap. I did talk to a guy the other day and he said they are a little wonky sometimes. But definitely if I put the outer bracket where the bench seat bracket was it will hit the door the seat and the bracket will hit the door when I close it..

How bout just put the seat where you want it?

Dam the holes!

I would suggest using a pneumatic jack hammer to puch new holes. (Thats my go to tool for holes in 18 gauge.) That should give you plenty of wiggle room?

Or a cordless drill?

I had to drill new holes. But now I'm going back to my bench seat I like the bench better.

Just for your viewing pleasure, heres what a rust bucket looks like with 29X10.5X15s centered in the wheel opening.

Next time someone calls your car a rust bucket you give em my number and I'll set em straight on who's who and what's what!

That is just a time released weight savings!! Lol everytime you hit a pot hole your car gets a couple thousands faster! Haha

If you cant read the tire brand through the rear quarters, it ain't a rust bucket and you never driven on salted roads.

Oh come on now you know I'm not afraid to drill on my car! LOL I just got to pick which holes I want to put it in LOL I was just told anyways that these were stock a body brackets so I figured I could just put it in some stock holes and call it a day. It looks like I may have to do a little bit something different though..

We have to rethink one more requirement! LOL and it belongs between the engine and the Driveline....

You do know the bucket seats are making way for me to put the Hurst V gate shifter back in correct?

How bout cutting that exhaust pipe back so the tip just lines up with the rocker?

At that angle your putting a fair amount of heat into an already soft tire.

And as a friend of mine I take more liberty with you than I would with most so dont take what I say as anything more than me messing with you.

I really appreciate the time you spent helping me. It's a dam shame you're so far away.

Shifter?

Is that with a third pedal?

Then you have to do stuff and use the brain bucket. I just pull the lever at wide open throttle?

that's been kind of a trademark of mine I've always liked that AAR Cuda kind of exhaust look. And don't you worry there couldn't be anything you would say to me that would make me mad at you for a long shot...
when your Mopar says "direct connection" all over it it's got to have a clutch & Gears with a direct connection!

Who's not pulling the lever at wide open throttle!!! That's what the V gate's for!!
Or pushing!

That's funny today on fb I this kid that I work with posted a pic of his Honda civic hatchback with the hood off and the airbox painted red. And he committed that the 1.8 or whatever was really quick. Bahahaha. Whatever lol
I didnt comment because I'm not one of those guys but I jus thought if you think that is fast you need a real lesson in what quick means!
Granted I know that some of those tuner cars are extremely fast those twin turbo tricked out tuners can make a lot of power but a bone stock 1.8 with a painted airbox isnt one of them!

every time I've seen those cars they put one boatload of money into them to make them go fast and they only seem to do it a few times before they break and you don't hear from them again....
