**NEW Edelbrock Victor Series Small Block Heads**

-
Here's an idea, just do what Speedmaster ( ProComp) have done in the past and just rip off someone else's design. Take a well ported W2 head, go to China and get it copied.
Give 440 Source a call, they get some decent Chinese made stuff, I'm sure they could give out a few pointers.

Lead the way.....LOL

Edelbrock has been casting heads for mopars for along time aswell.

I think he's referring to Victor heads. Not standard performer heads, which by the way generally are not usable OOTB like they claim :wack:

What amazes me is this company Edelbrock has the technology to make Victors for Chevy and Ford yet they can't come up with them for a Mopar?? Then they lie thinking their pacifying us???:wack:

Every things gone down hill since they stopped going to the Moon..

I think the real isue that edelbrock has with the moparheads is that they will be hard to sell to a bunch of crybabies that thinks they are going to make a head that will make 1252hp with a stock 318cam the stock intake and exhaust manifold stock rockers and that looks exactly like stock and at a price that makes a can of soda seem expensive.

You hit the nail on the head with 95% of Mopar guys! That is some funny chit! haaaa

LOL, yeah but it's a different tune when Mopar guys want to sell something ;)

I remember when MP released the W5. It was "unavailable" for a long time.....and then there were no intakes! Nothing new for the smallblock crowd!

11/21/2014: According to our sources at Edelbrock, the long awaited small block Victor cylinder head is in the final machining process as we speak. They expect to have them at the PRI show in Indianapolis Dec 11-13th. We expect to have them available to sell sometime in December. If you are looking to build a high horsepower small block Mopar this is the head you need. Watch our website for flow number & prices.

I guess we will all believe it when we see it right? Hope it's true!

A friend of mine works there and said they are being machined right now, trying to get them out before the PRI show, said they got 340 out of the intake and 250 out of the exhaust.

It will be interesting to see what a REAL Head porter can get out of them. I heard that 370 CFM or more was capable on the intake.

Ok, great. Now we have a head that will support 800+HP in a small block. Where the hell are we going to get blocks that will support that kind of power???? MP LOL World?? Ritter???

Whatever.

^^^^^

Well played from one of the best movies ever!

It sure is a fantastic movie :blob:

MRL does have a good point, but i believe that a real good out of the box head will have a nice marketshare even among those that wont aim for 800hp considering the cost of porting any head this should be a good alternative.

maybe call dart engines and beg them for an aftermarket block

they will continue to probably ignore mopars. they make heads and blocks for chevy / ford and even HONDA.

no dart blocks for us :(

if you have a chevy you can run right out and get a block from them with 5 inch bore space good for 1200HP but they obviously have something against mopar people

That stock block stuff is a bunch of BS. It will take it!!

I have a good friend of mine. Stock SBC. 600hp NA and he hits it with a 400 Shot of Juice. It has not skipped a beat. If a POS SBC can take it a Mopar will as well. It is all in the tune!

Here is the proof from people doing it....... Forget the He said she said BS

Still would be nice to have a REAL 4 bolt block with REAL priority oiling REAL 18 bolt head Real thick cylinders REAL high nickel castings and something that isn't 40 f'ing years old with tons of rust and core shift.

It would be nice to have a good or BETTER foundation to build a real High performance 1000hp Mopar small block.
