**NEW Edelbrock Victor Series Small Block Heads**

-
Still would be nice to have a REAL 4 bolt block with REAL priority oiling REAL 18 bolt head Real thick cylinders REAL high nickel castings and something that isn't 40 f'ing years old with tons of rust and core shift.

It would be nice to have a good or BETTER foundation to build a real High performance 1000hp Mopar small block.

Might happen actually....:happy1:

Yea, I agree. However, there not for sale yet are they?
By the time they are, I'll have my W5's done, up and running.

You guys need to read my quote....I was talking about BLOCKS! There is more than one interested party considering engine blocks for the BB and SB mopar!
Yes it will take some time, yes they MAY not happen but they are being considered...that's the first step.

When guys bash new products like the most current offering from TF, it's a step BACKWARDS for us mopar guys who want aftermarket performance and racing parts. That's why it's super important to SUPPORT new quality products even if you don't necessarily agree with them.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Ah, remember the days when people just made stuff, without wanking on about it for ages first. Seems like everybody just wants a slap on the back first before they will do anything.

It will be interesting to see what a REAL Head porter can get out of them. I heard that 370 CFM or more was capable on the intake.

I am getting 370 intake out of my BB 440-1 CNC ported heads and no way would the MW intake ports fit on a SB head. Those are amazing SB intake flow numbers. Will believe it when I see it. Those ex flows seem small compared to the intakes.

They had "one" at the PRI show, and it was reported that 30 sets were being done right now..... like we haven't heard that story before.

Then this will make you cry. The 6.4L Gen 3 Hemi heads flow just under 400cfm at .700", and they are no where near MW port size.

That stock block stuff is a bunch of BS. It will take it!!

I have a good friend of mine. Stock SBC. 600hp NA and he hits it with a 400 Shot of Juice. It has not skipped a beat. If a POS SBC can take it a Mopar will as well. It is all in the tune!

Here is the proof from people doing it....... Forget the He said she said BS

True enough , just saw a 408 SB put out 758 HP without the supercharger , with it should be over 1200 , then again the guy has 40,000 into the thing .

There are W8 heads that flow over 400.... :)

Interesting looking "stock" block there....

Looks like an R3 Block... Rubber motor mounts on a dyno? That is scary for an engine that has serious power
Lol

i wouldnt want an engine making that kind of power mounted on block side mounts. thats gonna distort cylinders under load. anything making that kind of hp would have to be a motor plate install job for me.

definately NOT a stock block.... just noted Jerry6 was speaking of a "stock" piece.... and posted this pict.

The poly lock Mounts would solve that problem.

what about the heads

can someone call them and ask???

a guy like mike at MRL could call them!!!
a guy like me a no body!!! I dont think they care but a speed shop maybe
