Post your 10 second combo

I am really close to the high tens...It ran an 11:01 @120 But I Think my headers are holding me back!?! 440 30 over 11.03 to 1 compression Forged alum. pistons. comp extreme lift 564 cam w/prw stainless 1.6 roller rockers = .601 lift. slealth heads cnc ported to 313 flow at .600 eddy rpm performer ported to match heads. proform 950 E-85 carb. 4500 stahl 4:10 gear 28" tall tire. The car runs 11:78 on motor and 11.01 on spray weighing in at 3400 lbs with out driver! I think the schumacker tri-y header is chocking the engine. I am pulling the engine to have it Dynoed over the winter and I am going to test the headers against some tti ' s and others that the dyno shop has. Looking at other set ups that compare to mine...I am almost a second slower! Time to fix the issues and up the spray!

Sweet! Here's a picture I took of your car at Rock Falls this past fall, cool car!

Thanks alleyoop! Nice pic of my wreck...Thats the the day I ran 11:01 at a buck twenty! The tires chattered twice and there went the 10:99 it should of run. The nitrous tune according to the O2 sensor was way safe. I am upping the jets and tuning it a little leaner but still safe. So I know it will break into the tens in the spring. I am also shedding 150 - 200 pounds over the winter so on the motor 11:50s should be new ET. No bar so that is the goal because this is my daily driver during the good months we have! Next time at the track swing by and say hey! also what does the demon way?

I have ran my best time on 12/3 at Virginia Motorsports park, a 10.19 at 130mph.

I will stop by, my Demon weighs 2975 with fuel and driver. I would like to throw some fiberglass parts on it, and go a little faster, but it's pretty consistent the way it is, so I'm pretty happy.

Here's a pic of your car at NSP, I've been admiring it for some time now.

you are 625 pounds lighter than my wreck...that explains why your set up works so well over mine! But mine is full interior street car but I still want high to mid 10s on the spray. That will work for me on street. Also another nice pic of my wreck...I did not lnow I had a mopar stalker! lol

Same combo as Daytona in 3000 lb 69' Valiant SS spings,4:89 gears,29.5 X 13.5 tire ?

My 3100 pound Duster ran 10.50's with a 340, 12.2:1 compression, .672 lift flat tappet cam, W5 heads flowing 300 cfm's at .600 lift and 305 at .650. Still using the 2.02 intake valve. The 4600 T/A converter, 29.5/11.5 tires, 904 with a low gear set and 5.13's. The carb is a self modified 850 Speed Demon flowing 930 cfm's with a 2" open spacer on an M1 manifold. 1 7/8 headers, no mufflers or juice.

I'll tell you straight up that I tried a lot of converters, rear gears, cams and even intakes and carbs to get it where it was. I run the same basic combo in the Scamp except it's a MP 360 short block, not much better than stock, but with the same heads, cam, intake and driveline. It weighs 2600 pounds, uses 4.88 gears and 14/32's with a four link. So far in crappy air it's gone 6.60 in the 1/8th at 103 and 10.45 in the 1/4 at 127. It's nearly 10 years old now and pretty tired so instead of freshening it I'm just going to build a stroker short block and have the heads touched up and 2.08 intakes installed. The only other changes are the 2" primary tube headers and 4" collectors. Should put it in the 9's

what pistons are you running ???

Sacremento last weekend my SLANT 6 went 10.576 at 123.996 mph with a 90 shot.Got a 1.456 60 ft with stock orig leaf springs with one leaf added upside down from the axel forward, not clamped and no snubber.Engine is tired with over 300 eleven second NA runs.Very happy and new record holder.Running 4.10 gears and went tru the traps around 6700 rpm.3.91 gears might get me the 125.52 mph I need for the mph record.Guzzi Mark

my car is 3550 lbs runs a 9 inch 3.89 gears and 26/10 /15 mt home made caltracs split mono leaf rancho 9000 shocks , 904 auto and 4800 stall full manual 408 cub ,indy heads ft cam solid 950 carbie 11.1 comp and some nos it ran pb 6.3@108 l good for nines and when it ran 10.3 it was 6.59 @105 the 1/8 the last pb are with mufflers on run 10.90 no gas with mufflers

My Dart is #3130 and is powered by an 11.to 1 410 stroker smallblock with Ported edelbrock heads, solid flat tappet cam 276/280@50 631 lift.950 hp carb and M-1 manifold. Ignition is all MSD.The trans is a 904 with a brake , 2.75 first gear and a 5800 stall by continental converters.Dana 60 in the rear with 4,56 gears. Has been a best 60 foot of a 1.29 and usually pulls 1.31s and 1.45 on the rear tires. Car has ran the best ET of 10.06 @ 131. The car is legal to run 10.00 but it has a 9 sec pass in it. I run a 29.5 10.5 Phoenix slick on a 10 inch rim. Here is a video of a 10.13 pass and the pic is from the same day in the final round.
