Re: changing both
I'll disagree with that. Make one change at a time if you can.
When you change the amount of mechanical advance, it also changes the initial tension and the second spring engagement. That's why its two changes, even though its one adjustment.

You could. I'd only change one or the other; especially since that's 3 changes.
Upping the initial would be my choice.
16* initial at 800 rpm
16* at 1400
34 at 2500

Sorry I mispoke above. This is my current setup
14* initial @ 800rpm
18* Mechanical @ 1400rpm
32* @ 2500 rpm

It’s a binary result analysis, if the total of 4* makes the bog worse but low end is still good, then drop only the initial. If that makes it better and low end performance remains fine, you know which is affecting which. If you get the opposite result fro. The initial test, then you adjust the mechanical back down.

OK. This is the timing on the engine. This is OK.
14* initial @ 800rpm
18* @ 1400rpm
32* @ 2500 rpm

adding 2 initial and it will be this:
16* initial @ 800rpm
20* @ 1400rpm
34* @ 2500 rpm
Worth trying. I think it will like it.

That only affects the curve rate and at 2500 rpm it is all in anyway.

Toyota ball joint didnt only kick my ***, it chewed it right half in two.
I destroyed one of the cups i use with the press, machinist hooked me up with 4140 and about 3 times the wall thickness.
I ended cutting ball joint apart, hole sawing down the centre and sawing it almost right through to split it. It still came out with a bang. Owner showed up just as i finished the hole sawing.

Adding two mechanical will somewhat change the rpm of points on curve. Remeasure, don't assume.
It should slow things down. Might be something like this using the same initial:
14* initial @ 800rpm
18* @ 1800rpm
34* @ 2800 rpm

Ouch !!!!

Totally separate side note... Never wash your pillow and expect it to dry in a reasonable time.. Im going on 1 week with a wet pillow..
No dryer? Put it in a warm oven that has been preheated to 170* and then turned off. Let it all cool to room temp and you will have a dry pillow when it’s done.

Problem was it soaked up so much water the washer wouldnt spin it so I had to ring it out numerous times for a couple days. Then tried drying it but the wife finally made me stop using the dryer and its been outside in the sun these past few days... I like the stove idea
