Stop in for a cup of coffee

There was a celebration of life celebration in a town 1 hour away today in memory of Phil a Mopar friend of mine. He was known in the circles as Kit Car Phil. He owned many Aspen/Volare kit cars, race cars, and the only known to exist un-assembled kit car. There was plenty of friends, stories, photos of his life and plenty of Old Mill Red's to drink. His body will be transported from Iowa Falls to his burial in Cedar Rapids tomorrow in the back of his buddy Terry's Little Red Express truck. RIP Phil.
Just the way I would want to go!!!!

Blew out the crotch in pair of jeans this afternoon. Since I have a ****-ton of sewing machines.... I googled the machine model number. Watched a 7 min video, threaded the machine snd zig-zag stitched a patch in fixing the hole. **** really wasn't that hard.

Did you take the jeans off before sewing the patch on????

Note the "Adventurer" emblem on the Little Red Express Truck. Terry took an emblem to the sign shop and had the font duplicated for the sticker in the back window. In Petty Blue of corse. Phil had one of the largest Richard Petty collections known to exist. His casket will be trnsported for burial in Terry's Express Truck tomorrow. The guy lived and breathed Mopar!

Hey Ben, that new shooting near you?

I heard on the news radio while doing the dishes earlier, that they have a new ap for teachers to use in case of a shooting or similar event... So they can communicate with the authorities faster and get more accurate information to them...

How sad is it that it's getting so common that they are making aps for it???

When the media sensationalizes it, whack-jobs see their 15 minutes of fame within reach..

I knew there was a Lil Red Express involved as soon as I saw the picture before reading...

I'm a fan of those trucks... We had a 79 Warlock II when I was in high school and my brother later owned a 78 Lil Red Express... :steering:

We almost bought another Lil Red Express with only 24 k miles on it in high school, but the dealer really low balled our trade in that we bought from them less than a year earlier... Really pissed my dad off... The owner of the dealership tried to call him afterwards apologizing for the insulting deal, but dad doesn't play that way... Too late, he never would go back to that dealer...
