i have a couple duraspark dizzys at home. I need to reinstall one with an hei as well.I like this idea better - keeping the HEI control mounted seperate in a convenient and relatively cool location.
Some good info about using a HEI modules about halfway into this thread.
More on E-core coils, TFI and Duraspark.
The Duraspark distributors uses a magnetic pickup like the Mopar ones.
And also the wonders of cheap HEI in this one. Always cracks me up.

'Giantkiller' Mike on Racing Fuel Systems is a good resource there.I have a couple of duraspark dizzys at home. I am going to install one back on a 302 with the hei module.

Actually easier with the spring on. Not my pic, mine slip in further and can't get to the washer hole. That looks like one hell of a spring. ***** to press down?
Cool replacement light sockets for those pressed/peened in stock sockets. B/U light socket replacement

LOL no thanks. They do serve a purpose. I have a rear signal on my Swinger that had a bad socket. MaMopar peened/flared them into the sockets so they aren't replaceable unless you somehow peel them out and replace them with one that plugs in. It looks like these screw in and would provide a good ground. Those would look good with some colorful LEDs in them
What is that potting material anyway. Liquid silicone when it's poured in?IIRC Nacho cut the potting material - maybe with a hot knife?? Don't remember and I think last I looked his photos had been deleted.
Nice bet it was bit different than last time!
Just curious, never tried to cut it out. Can it be softened with heat? Its simular to an epoxy.
Never another 66 Charger for me......Your next project??
