Stop in for a cup of coffee

Is yours on the road already?? Just curious what you think about it?? I've got it saved to my cart.. How many did you use? Thats a 6x6' area so I would think I would need about 2 for the floor/firewall.
One of the best ways to keep heat out of the floor is to install heat shields under the car between the exhaust and the floorboards. It works waaaay better than installing it on the inside since it keeps all the interior metal from heating up in the first place and conducting heat through the edges all around.

The Modern Mopar guys use it a lot when doing header and exhaust mods to keep the heat out of the cabin.

That would work great if the underside was clean, oil free, no factory undercoating and fresh metal (rotisserie comes to my mind). Not so good on my car, but does make sense as to why.

It can be applied to fresh thin aluminum sheet metal shields that are installed with rivets to the body or clamp connections to the exhaust like modern cars use. Just something to consider.

I have to say that while this hat is fun to wear, it is also incredibly warm.

I have lots of high quality cold weather hats that I bought for Winter fishing and extreme cold, but this is by far the warmest one of all...whodathunkit?

Maybe it is the design...or materials...or just the Christmas spirit.

In any event, it really is toasty!

WTF would ANY one use the original part that gets the most wear in an Engine? After spending good money to build it right. The camshaft!! :realcrazy:

I asked the same question, said at the time, he couldn’t find anything but a factory cam and couldn’t afford a custom grind

I think I am on my fourth box. I did all the floor, the roof and the trunk. I plan to do the doors and the trunk lid as well. I like it a lot. I recommend waiting until warm weather. I put it all out on the Valiant and Kitty's car in the hot sun last summer and let it get really hot and soft. It almost installed itself.

I didn't install mine for heat. I installed it for sound deadening. I am sure it will help some with the heat, too. Thanks for sharing this. When I am done prepping and painting the floor bottom, I might just put the sticky shield on it as well.

This morning -26
Tomorrow-16. Im liking that already.
Pellet stove works best around the mid minus teens. Furnace rarely comes on.
And a mild weekend, fargo will start easy.

Morning!
Mild this morning. Will probably come with snow.

Trying to figure out how to get the rear axle out of a donor truck. plow the snow away is first, then i will remove plow and
Use the hydraulic plow lift to give back of truck some lift to get a jack under it. Thinking that should be my goal for saturday.
