Looking at that article it is dated 2007.
I dont think husqvarna makes their own, and deere certainly does not. The larger ones are still deere, but the riding mowers are mtd. Modern Tool and Die ...
It just depend what you read. I just read an article that said al the JD models are made in the US with world sourced components. The D series (cheap line) is made in a John Deere plant in Greenville Tennessee and that those models are the same as what the JD dealers sell. The new E series is also built in Greenville. The X series is made in Horicon Wisconsin. I can't remember the progression into the Yanmar built mini's. Those are the ones with the huge decks, pto, loaders and the like. I could look it up but I have supper to fix. LOL

San Francisco’s to Manila in just 5 days. A whole new World of travel was opening up back then...80 years ago.

Of course, now it takes about 10 hours to make the same trip.

I wonder what people will think about our World when in the future when is takes them even far less time to do the same. Perhaps just a couple of hours...or maybe only a few seconds...for them to make the 10 hour trip that we think is such as vast improvement over how long it took the first Flying Clipper Ships.

But then again, back then getting there was half the fun of the adventure. Sometimes I think we have lost sight of that simple pleasure...

But that's just it, that brush cutter is industrial. That is something the county or railroad would use. Not an overpriced gadget someone uses on a lawn before T off :poke:
Oh I totally would. Haven’t you ever see Tim Taylor on Tool Time?

I can have it printed for you...customized of course!
Thanks, I just grabbed that quick in a Google search to put up something 'Binford' , but it was actually from a place that sells them. I might look around and see what's already out there...

Sure the pump is on a tractor....
True but I have seen guys mount small gas engines on them to drive a hydraulic pump, usually in the case where their tractors pump doesn’t flow enough.

There is a huge difference in running hydraulic cylinders compared to hydraulic motors.
A ton of parasitic loss, and way more heat. More heat= more loss.

Dang, got to get up with the chickens to beat you TJ.
