Cut grass for a couple hours. Yard looks a little better.
More work rolled in. Buick rainier for trans/front diff. This is gonna suck. First i have to locate good used.

May be doing some work on the younger kid's 360 in the near future...

I found my stuff to check compression and degree the cam...

Did a few rough calculations and we will end up at 9.63 compression with the 318 heads... But if we run a set of 340/360 heads we will be between 9.07 - 9.25 depending if we find a set with 72 or 70 cc...

I'm going to go with the larger port 340/360 head so we have some wiggle room on the compression and can run cheap pump gas in it, plus get the extra flow...

Then I have plenty of LD340's to stick on top....
 
So Karl, how hard would it be to do up a dfx file for an intake flange based off an LD340? Full size to be cut on a laser cutter?
