Huge plumbing project tomorrow. Re piping all the water in the attic. From Galvanized to PEX. All walls have copper in already....Except one to master shower. Hope it goes well......

Service call. Buddy has been battling with his all new brake system in the 50’s chevy truck hes building. Fluid to back, very little to front calipers. Checked prop valve, its flowing. And wouldnt gravity bleed at all.
After almost 2 hours of poking and prodding, it came down to a loose fitting. Right at master cylinder. He snugged fittings, but the flare didnt seat or seal. I saw a drop come from the line.one drop. It was sucking air back up into master. I spent 2 hours,he’s been fighting for 3 days. Im happy i solved it.

Took my son on a mommy/daddy/son only day. Friend of ours baby sat for us. He wanted to go down to Bass Pro shops to the indoor aquarium and then hit our favorite seafood place down on the Ohio River in Louisville. All went well until we tried to go eat. The place had only 1 waitress, 1 waiter and the Owner himself cooking. So it took about an hr to get seated, despite being nearly empty, they could only seat about 6 tables at time and be able to keep up. We were there about 3 hours total, as things slowed down after the lunch rush, the owner came and sat with us, chatted until the next customer came in. Him and his wife are working 160 hours between the two of them cooking, they have just 2 wait staff that are working about the same. They’ve been trying to hire at 5 times the pay they hired at just 1 year ago (not counting tips) and it’s so bad, he’s even offering 4500 in signing bonuses.

He said he can’t even find help period. He’s waived drug testing and background checks even. He said he’s lucky to get 1 application a week right now and even luckier if that person shows up for the interview.

Cold called from a company I worked for 25+ years ago offering 70.00 an hour. They are desperate...

So, im not there yet, but guys claim they had to cut firewall and starter hits steering box. With a mini starter, no. And i think i have enough room for a clutch fan.
