Stop in for a cup of coffee

I would say trailer it out and show it. Unless someone else is coming out with another vehicle with all your stuff. But your cars would be in different rows of the show area by year grouping I think.
True. Hmmm

I have an all aluminum 8 ft trailer I planned to tow with the dart.... Can put 1 thousand pounds in there if I need to....If i cannot get my gas mileage somewhat reasonable, I will need an extra tank in there!!!

Tim I think you need to ask yourself questions like
Can I make it with out AC through the plains and deserts?
Is the car small that would make my 7' 6" stature cramped?
Can the car handle the heat?
Will I either hate the car by the time I get there or love it?

I went cross country in a 1984 Ford Ranger. I loved that truck but sold it as soon as I got back to but a bigger truck.

When I was younger, I drove my 64 Sport fury cross country three times. Now the speed limit back then was 55 MPH, so my car got 20 MPG on the hwy. AND it was a B body car. And I was a lot younger. It had no Ac in it as well. I can see that once I drive the dart there, looking to get it trailered back!!! Leave it at Rays, fly back, till next year , and bring my Truck and trailer!!! that would be bad....

In realty, I will trailer it out there.....

We did a lot when we were younger that we can't/or don't want to do now. I get cramped up going to Harrisburg and I used to drive 800+ mile a day as a truckdriver (back before DOT)

Only if you take the windows out and cover it!

I think I have it worked out, using my large trailer....NOW comes if i can get it into your place!! AND does Carlisle have a lot to store your trailer while you show your car?
The year I went, I parked next to several trucks and trailers with cars being unloaded from them right by the main gate

So first, I just got off phone with Carlisle events, Chris's car and mine are in the same class. 60 to 71 A body modified. So we can put them together. Second, yes there is a lot to store trailers, 35 dollars a space. I will need three probably. 119 Carlisle springs RD.

I paid for a show space and one trailer space. they will collect more as needed.... We will get there Thursday, so lots of room to put trailer.... Got trailer lined up. So it seems like operation "Show 66", is a go!!

SOO It seems I need to have my pickup weighed. Determines if i need to enter scales or not.....Jeezzz

It seems like it will weigh under the 8 thousand threshold.. Finely, something is going my way.....

So, A pickup truck, with a 8 ft bed, does not have to go thru scales, UNLESS, it has a GVWR of 10K or more. My truck has a GVWR of 14K. BUT it goes on to say, a pickup with an unladen weight of less the 8K does not. My truck weighs about 7400 lbs empty. Laws are very confusing....AND if a pickup has a utility bed, it has to go thru scales anyway. Because, a pickup has to have an open bed....otherwise it is a motor truck. and they do have to go thru scales.......:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead: and flatbeds go thru scales as well......AND all of this goes out the window if you are hauling for hire.....
