Stop in for a cup of coffee

So, A pickup truck, with a 8 ft bed, does not have to go thru scales, UNLESS, it has a GVWR of 10K or more. My truck has a GVWR of 14K. BUT it goes on to say, a pickup with an unladen weight of less the 8K does not. My truck weighs about 7400 lbs empty. Laws are very confusing....AND if a pickup has a utility bed, it has to go thru scales anyway. Because, a pickup has to have an open bed....otherwise it is a motor truck. and they do have to go thru scales.......:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead: and flatbeds go thru scales as well......AND all of this goes out the window if you are hauling for hire.....

The Monty Python guys write all the laws. I'm certain

Get me pictures if you will. I am seriously wanting and OLD truck

Maybe I can pay Tim to pick it up unless he is full
Could keep it on my 10 acres until you figure out shipping. But sadly, I have no way to haul or pull a trailer currently to even get it to here

Oh I thought you said it was a 1940 That one is a 1948-1955. I had one and just sold it. because I wanted older. This is the 1940.

I had a 47 International KB2 for a while. All original. I used to drive it a lot. But alas, had too many vehicles, it went....

My '66 Ranchero had to have commercial plates. It could be registered as a passenger car, but if ever caught with so much as a bag of groceries in the back it was citation city. Drove 2 different service body trucks when I worked for Kasler, never a stop at a scale. At VAFB I was going home one day, got about 1 1/2 miles from the gate and traffic is stopped at the exit. Waited my turn. Got to the gate the MP asks "Do all of these boxes have something in them?" " Yes they do, and all of them are locked." "Get the f@#$ out of here. I don't think you have anything stolen." "Yes Sir. I'm gone."

Driving through the parking lot with my Swinger I rolled through a storm drain that must have a 1 1/2' deep hole. Damn, right side dove in and the rear tires squawked when they came back to earth. I didn't see any damage but I didn't drive it much after that. I might go back later and drive it around to make sure everything is ok. (and take some photos) All they need to do is fill it full of rock.

Oh crap....

When I was younger, I drove my 64 Sport fury cross country three times. Now the speed limit back then was 55 MPH, so my car got 20 MPG on the hwy. AND it was a B body car. And I was a lot younger. It had no Ac in it as well. I can see that once I drive the dart there, looking to get it trailered back!!! Leave it at Rays, fly back, till next year , and bring my Truck and trailer!!! that would be bad....
I bet I know someone who would store it outside for you for a profit.
I should have free garage space by then if you want to store it here. Just leave the keys.:rofl::rofl:

I think I have everything worked out. Bring big trailer. Getting in an out of hoppys is the question now....

Does anyone know where and if I plug in vacuum hose to idle enrichment diaphram on Carter BBD? Was missing 90% of the vacuum hoses when I got the car.

I would think manifold vacuum but not sure.

So I could not get 904 to upshift soon enough. Bought Hollie adaptor. Hopes this fixes issue

I think it is manifold vacuum.
Vac drops, valve opens, adds fuel. Zoom zoom.

Got the new carb today. Bolted it on. Turned key. Drove it. All it needed was a little less choke and a little higher idle.
