Any GV improvements?
This is my first time playing with a carter bbd
They arent that difficult, if you have an oem manual to refer to.
All my manuals are on a usb I forgot on the boat in Mexico. Currently charging battery and adding grounds.
Have not got there yet. I am still working out getting the 904 to up shift correctly.
So it's not a Manuel only shift .
Does it shift a little early? Looks like it would.
No it shifts late!!!! Going to drop the pan on the trans and see what the adjustment is on the kickdown. Throttle pressure linkage...
If I cannot get this worked out, a manual valve body is going in. I am tired of this crap....
Your kickdown lever on the transmission and the throttle should both be at maximum at wide open throttle.
LOL it is......Still more road testing in my future.....I am beginning to think the throttle pressure lever is miss adjusted....

I know......I will say, it runs real well!!!! And the 3:23 gears make a big difference on RPM's Now, if it would just shift correctly....

I told him to put a t56 in it....(itd been cheaper)Just put in a 4spd and call it a day

Nah, sell the trans and gear vendor, clear 5k easy. Get ya a t56 for 2500 or less, cut a hole, installed clutch and bellhousing for another 3-5 hundred and come out 2k ahead
