Just saw them on Faceplant in a row. There are some good ones I cannot post here some idiot moderater will delete them!
You win the coolest avatar award!Manual brakes. This has a Chevy impala style master and front calipers, F150 rotors out front and 9" axle with drums out back. All double flare. I finally bought a nice Cornwell manual double flare tool. I wish I bought the hydraulic turret style though.

I have done tons of brake and fuel lines. So many on 88-98 chevys i know 12-1/2 feet of line from front fitting to rear brake hose works good.I sold quite a few of those kits. We have a lot of rusty lines replaced here. They work well.

Made by Imperial Eastman.I still have my old 80's Snap on flair tool. Just had to replace the small anvil a few times of course.

My old one is a unitool, which is probably an eastman. So were hastings.Made by Imperial Eastman.
That's the one I sold. I grabbed a few chunks of brake line and let the guys play with it. It was an easy sell even though it was expensive.I dont do it enough to warrant a good set. Chuck down the road has a really nice hyd kit that douse double flair and bubble flair. Pretty slick do not know the brand but was not cheap I am sure.

Funny/not funny story. The 1st insurance policy I sold when I worked for Farmers was to a guy with a 2000 Porsche out of Richmond Indiana. He rarely drove it but one day, he was driving down I74 and blew a right front, hooked a guardrail and knocked over the exit sign that shows what all restaurants were at that exit. So the claims adjust goes out, meets me there, at the tow yard, first thing he did was walk up to the tires, pull out this little book, and compared the tires. Now this was 2014. The tires… were made in 1998. They were the very set that came on the thing when the guy ordered it new. The car barely had 50k on it. Insurance denied the claim under those grounds. Guy took them to court but lost due to the clause that if it is determined to be a preventable accident due to negligence of the owner for known mechanical or maintenance items. The dude had been shopping for tires and had the estimated in the glove box of the car dating back 18 months prior to the accident.Yes, "They were on the car when I bought it" probably doesn't fly eh??
Thanks guys. Good points
Yup, that’s my kit. I hole sawed a chunk of 2x4 to fit handle and split it. Then stuff it in vise, holds it perfectly.I dont do it enough to warrant a good set. Some things people need to learn for themselves.
Running a little rich? Check the choke first then check the fuel pressure. Some things people need to learn for themselves.
You know what rich feels like?
Like when I forgot to open the choke... that's how we learn....
I started reading that one and went on down the road. I didn't think the outcome would be good. You want to feel super helpful? Go explain to this guy how to use the tach to know what idle rpm is. I ran out of energy and interest. I did look up the dizzy for my own curiousity - FYI its a replacement for a '69 with auto.
