Stop in for a cup of coffee

Transmission is back in just have to get cooling lines and cables connected and adjusted. Taking a little family time. Realized last night that two of the engine/trans case bolts were never there  drivers side only had the 2 engine bracket bolts. Duh. Picked up the bolts this morning.

Taking a family break to get outside. It's great out. 63° and sunny

Flip flops and tee shirts here today. House windows all thrown open. Jodi is getting ready to road trip today for work. I will be left alone and unsupervised till Friday. What could possibly go wrong? Hardest decision is….Liquor store, Strip Club or Gun Shop!

3, 1, 2

Or just 3

Cooling lines? We don’t need no stinking cooling lines! Hah! Congrats on getting her back in. Can’t wait to see her off the Jack stands and rolling down the road. You have certainly fought for every inch of progress. Well done guy!

Ugh so I flipped the light switch in this old barn and boom, goes the bulb holder.
Flip the breakers, pull the porcelain holder that’s been in place since 1997, full of crap yuck.

So I go to menards, get the only porcelain ones they have, get back and the new one has two screws instead of 4… does this matter? I think I’ll go to the electric supply shop tomorrow and see if they can match it. Gonna replace all the existing boxes and holders, as well as the switch and wire.

Is the new one a light socket only and the old one has a outlet?

Both are single light socket only.

Wire goes from the switch to the socket box, wire comes out socket box, goes to the next one and so on . Daisy chained you could call it

So working on the old truck trying to figure out a place for the condiment stand and finally figured it out. You all remember A&W restaurant that they would bring your food to your car and attach a tray to your car door glass?
Well that's what I built today I'm in the middle of varnishing the condiment tray that hooks to the door glass of the old truck.
Garbage can is next.

They must have 2 in and 2 out so you don't have to double conductors up on one screw.

Giving it a shot. Hand slicing is a little tricky to get thin but last time I used the slicer I went to the ER for stitches.

we had a good time. It was fun watching him interact with other fans.

Trying to avoid wasting anymore money on gravel. Every year now for the last 7-8, we had gravel hauled in. We had 300 tons hauled in in the fall of 2021, by fall of 2022, it was no where to be found. Kind of starts to add up. But there’s 10 acres on the other side profitable only when we don’t have a 6000 dollar gravel bill
Geotextile will prevent the gravel from mixing with the soil below. Needs to be 6” thick at a minimum

Oh, 0°farenheit this morning when we left. Froze our asses off. Had a great time though.
