Kind of echoes through the trunk as I remember hiding in a trunk going to a drive in movie in a 68 Dart.

All washed up now going to polish and wax it for summer fun. Still wanting a 70 Cuda but low budget Scamp is still fun.

I enjoy it been nothing but fun building it and hope to do another car next winter if I can afford it.That doesn't look low-anything Fred.
I am getting to that point......No holes. Just rust.....not bad. Enough to mess up the gas....Ok, but seriously… Does the old one have any holes? Could you flush it out and run it till you get a new one?
Sounds like you might have an alternative if you don't get the new tank in time. Would hate to miss some good pictures of your trip.I am getting to that point......No holes. Just rust.....not bad. Enough to mess up the gas....
Sounds good Tim.I just ordered Eastwood tank cleaner/sealer....be here Friday....
Probably better than the alternative till you are done with it, judging by lack of quality on first one you got.I just ordered Eastwood tank cleaner/sealer....be here Friday....
Thanks Ray, I have a Klein gauge (stock pic). Will this work?Just a ohms meter on the float and use that scale. Use a analouge meter easier to see a dead spot if it has one. If needed and you have the cluster out I have a tester I made to check the guages out of the car, has a internal battery. Hook it up flip a switch and see what it reads. Simple I can lend it to you if needed. Reall a pretty cool tool. Lent it out here a few times. Need to make them and sell them really. Just no time.
