Stop in for a cup of coffee

and i would kill for a 1965 727 for the tailshaft/slip yoke but that's not gonna happen
Long shot but stop in every mom and pop transmission shop to ask.
I traded a 65 727 for a '78 because the linkage was to complicated for me to make work in my 67
Yeah, i have seen them from $75 to $350 which blows my mind... there is a set of what looks like brand new Weiand aluminum ones bout a hour from me for $125 but they won't clear my rockers.. i'm not sure the M/T's will either but they are my favorite VCs
Didn't I post the inner dimensions for the M/Ts ?
The reusable valve gaskets will buy a little more hieght.

I didn't see the dimensions.. i don't have it together yet to measure though so.. wouldn't help :) I saw someone makes a 5/16th thick double cork gasket though so that's an option

BTW. i'm glad places like detroit muscle tech exist.. they have some of the oddest parts that are awesome to get new.. plus they are 10 miles from me which is nice.
Wow they really do, checked their site for 71 Duster, lots of stuff thanks! Going to a Lions game in Sep, might have to take a side trip to Warren lol!

yeah, all the weird little covers and plugs and seals and ****... really surprised at the stuff they have

Most of the major venders will be there. Pretty sure they come in different lengths if you care.

Yeah, i need to see if i still have one to check length.. i'm not doing a resto so doesn't matter that much..

Me either but just cleaner look. I got a new engine harness so most of the old ones were so brittle they broke easily

Someone makes factory harnesses for them? My original harness is still pliable and not hard at all but still makes me worry, thinking bout adding some big fuses in places so it will be less.... firey...
