Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Got up early, hit the door and met my buddy for coffee. Picking up the pig tonight so we can start it very early tomorrow.
For now im cutting grass, finding lots of bear **** around the oak trees.
Lots to do today. Have to pick up rocks on the driveway, the big stones are making their way to the surface, damn pit run for base.

What year did the 383 come out?

The first 383 was introduced in 1959, but as the raised block. The dimensions on this engine were a bore of 4.030 and a stroke of 3.750 inches. This engine was available with two four-barrel induction and a horsepower rating of 345 @ 5000 rpm.

doing garage car shuffle today. trying to get the garage organized so i can do the Valient make over this winter.
dug out the 68 tempest, put that in behind the garage. going to list it on bookface market. then moved the 68 gto over to the other side where the tempest was. so now ihave one double deep side open and half the other side behind the GTO. im hoping my son picks that up someday.
Mattax showed up for a bit. always a good time talking with him.

Just one more cup for today C\_/ .
We decided to forgo the typical Labor Day bash here this weekend. Instead, the wife has agreed to help get the 67 notch running, drove round town a bit. Then onto "FOR SALE" in the coming week or so.
I sure I'll grille something at some point but may be just hotdogs on Monday.
Yall stay safe out there. Happy Labor Day.

Here's our very own @318willrun. He's my kind of people!

When I put the Hedmans on my F100 '72 big block short bed, bout 3 hours start to finish and that included welding up my existing dual glass packs to the new reducers  The one side I just sat there on the top of the fender took the iron out, dropped the tubes in and bolted them up  The headers were like $79 at Super Shops

Back to the room like 100 steps from the beach another great day. With the storms this past week been getting a big high tide. We’ve gone down early and found several really nice conch shells.

Locals say they’re rare in this area and surge is bringing them in. They’ll soon have a new home in Kansas.

Tonight going down to Old Town Vero Beach this evening for their First Friday Art Walk and dinner.

Well they changed the weather a bit. Now just the weekend will suck. Only outside work to do also!
