Stop in for a cup of coffee

Im suprised i havent gained due to slowing down after this sciatica thing started. But i pretty much quit the restaurant stuff for lunch.
Just a sammich at lunch or maybe a couple toasts and a glass of milk.

I'd put some weight on and then lost it when I was sicker than chit and hospitalized with covid. Not a good way to lose weight and it slowly came back based on what I was eating.
This time my slightly elevated A1C started to go up and I decided it was finally time to do something. It was tough the first week but as it became normal it became easier. My A1C in eight months has dropped from 7.5 to 5.9. My next blood work in December I should be below the high end normal 5.7.

My weight stays between 185 and 192 s. I have never been heavier than 200 lb my entire life. But I am a small boned man so that makes sense. My mother and father were small people, and I was a very skinny child. I have noticed that it's harder for me to keep the muscle mass at my age over 60 now. But I keep at it. I will say that I lose maybe eight or nine pounds when I'm in Vietnam eating the food there. Probably just a quality of the food. Oh and of course less ice cream and chocolate

A little king of the hill and you get to stretch out and sleep on the pallet of gear, no hammock, no jump seat just pure luxurious comfort!
I found the jump seat with the noise and vibration of the plane to be sure restful bliss.

On the long 30+hour trips on a c-130 I always brought a hammock and tied it up. Nice knowing the avionics bay. Man that was comfortable.

Carbs is what gets ya and adds the pounds on. They won't come off either until you want and make changes.
It's a mindset at first but then quickly becomes a way of life...just gotta do it every day.
We were talking the other night what we use to eat...ugh!! Neither one of us miss those foods.
Yeah.. my sister complains bout her weight she counts calories and won't listen to me... She has watched me lose 10# in a week, her son lost 40# in 3 months without doing anything but dropping carbs (has medical **** and can't work out and put on pounds) but... yeah.... calories.. sure :)

Best spot were the three seats right in front of the rear ladder. One can take the floor, one on the seats, and one along the side, and always fresh air coming up the stairs. Never been on one of those for mas transport the Potty always overflowed!

When the unit deployed usually had a C-5 land at the base. Fold the rotors up on two H-60 stuff them in there, a bunch of pallets and the people up in the second deck. Freaking huge!

haha i love life... so i looked for a 19 spline converter for a full year before breaking down and converting my trans to 24 spline literally a week ago.. just got a PM from a local guy that has a TCI 19 spline converter just laying around... unreal..

Just ordered a billet rear drum piston for my trans to get rid of that inputshaft endplay... amazing how much money you can throw into a trans without even buying the insane parts..
