Cool pics!
Mr and Mrs Hoppy made it down in the Tikey truck this morning, got his old slanty off.
I noticed a big wet spot under mine today.
Yes, cool pics!A Graphic Artist friend of mine came over today and I helped him fix some creaking sounds on his '06 SRT that I had fixed on mine previously. He took some interesting photos while he was here...
I wonder if those engine Decals are being re-popped by anyone ....that is so cool

so you guys know early A stuff in here.
Would a slant six out of a 67 barracuda bolt right into an early Valiant with a 3 speed trans and all? using the rear end and driveshaft from the barracuda as well. Are the mounts the same? oil pan clearance ???
63It should all fit. What year Valiant?
Depends on how early in the model year.It should all fit. What year Valiant?

i would be using the engine from the barracuda with a later 3 speed trans. ....so it will have a floor shifter and use the later slip yoke driveshaft and most likely the rear end from the barracuda as wellDidn't they change the diameter of the torque converter snout in 66??? You would need to match the converter and trans...
How are you going to shift the trans? The 63 is push button/cable shift, where 67 is linkages... You would need to work out the shifting...
I don't have 63 engine mounts ...there was no engine at all in the valiant...I only have what is coming from the 67 for engine partsLoot at the mounts for both and see if they are the same... If not, bolt the 63 mounts on the 67 engine...

Sounds like this one. Thanks, I'll give the heat cycle a tryI marred the 'grab ring' on the pulley a little when i did mine. But all the damage was done dicking with it before i went with heat and whack theory. I think it would have come off without a nick if I'd done it that way from the start.
And don't go easy with the hammer on the puller bolt when you get it tight. A strong whack is what it took to get her broke loose..Sounds like this one. Thanks, I'll give the heat cycle a try
Eddie came over today and luckily no rain during the day... We didn't get the springs on because the painting kept us busy all day...
Here it is before. Notice the skill in the taping - LOL!
I bet the end result though is stellar.
