Stop in for a cup of coffee

I went to the doctor yesterday for my shoulder. It had been bothering me for several months. It doesn't have pain just aches after doing something like golf, weights, lifting stuff, yard work etc... I'd pop some ibuprofen, heat and wake up good the next morning. It just seemed to linger on for months so sought the doctor. He agreed it was more likely inflammation and not a joint issue. I'm going to try Voltaren an over-the-counter pain cream for 10 days and see what that does. If that doesn't work, then physical therapy. Hopefully it clears up.
Jodi slathered my shoulders in Voltaren this morning from yet another chain saw day yesterday. The stuff actually works pretty well but man does it stink!

They're made of aluminum or something pretty soft. Use them installing bearings when I can. Never would have budged the U-joint. When it came out is was fighting the press. Pop! and move 1/16 and then repeat.
Had to use a press a few times too. All the various PTO shafts on farm equipment and the sandy soil eats u joints. Used to repair at least 3-4 a year. Usually in the field when they suddenly let go with no warning. Hammer and punch with someone holding

So a couple years back, a friend of ours gave me a 30 watt solar panel kit for my birthday. It got put up in the attic and never assembled, found it over the weekend when I was cleaning out the attic. Put it together and right now, it seems to be charging my truck batteries that i pulled the other week. Has a built in charge controller so I’m curious to see how it all works.

Karl could have a heyday with that one.

I used to reread my posts to myself thinking what would Karl do with that! Now that he is sporadic I just let ‘em fly and take my chances! He is a good egg!
Jody slathered what with Voltaren to keep the swelling down? :poke: :poke:

Not sure if this link will work... Hard to tell what's tell what's real anymore with AI. Thought it was cool to see it done 'old school'

Becky just booked a Halibut fishing trip for my and my sons birthdays. Date of trip is May 12th and a guy a work told her that wasn't a fishing day for Halibut so I'm online and think he's right. Good thing she can cancel but kinda crappy on the website/guide setup
So the Halibut put dates on a calendar that they aren't biting?

I have a seal driver set. Only use it when it is on a engine in a area that is hard to get to. Kind of like a expansion plug installer, never use but once in a while......
Most annoying thing that i have to deal with is some of the dust caps. For the smaller caps, black abs pipe fits perfect and its easy to pound them in/on.

The wife occasionally gets frozen shoulder, physio and massage seems to take care of it.

I have this cheap solar panel, 6x12” or something. I connected it to a lawn tractor type battery that runs a small 12 volt demand pump to supply water in my office. It has kept that battery up for years.

Well, i fell off the path as usual. Brought in bead roller and decided it needs some upgrades. The tension ‘handle’ is just a bolt and i have to fiddle with a wrench every time. So fixing it with a crank. Found a knob for it as well. Seems appropriate

This one isn’t much bigger. It’s like 12 by 18. 30 watt. If it works, I plan to use it to irrigate my garden this year
