Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah it was fun, he can do some shots for sure and he signed a album along with most of the band. I was pretty lucky where I grew up a lot of musicians lived there. Brian Seltzer used to hang out at a gas station with us on Fridays, he is a good guy a few years ago I shot him a e mail for a donation to the Halifax archery team going to the usa finals, they got #1 in PA and he sponsored a girl to get there that otherwise could not go to Louisville.

hey ya Chris - oh yea? for....?
my 440 short block finally gets finished at the machine shop, after 15 months in the machine shop! Not the shops's fault but mine, took a while to decide on what parts I wanted

Only thing I shall need are the heads, which are being saved for as we speak! So with some luck, it'll be test fired by end of summer

One of my favorites we used to play it when we were to drunk to drive and let leagally blind Tony drive!

the specs:

73 440
68 440 Steel crank
LY shot peened Rods
L2335 forged pistons
King Rod Bearins
King Main Bearins
King Cam Bearings
ARP Studs and Rod bolts
XE285 Comp Cam
Torker II intake

Block is line honed, bored .030 over, decked to .05, should net me right at 10:1, give or take a couple decimal places

Just waiting to get the heads and bolt them one

Man that Blind Tony thing brought back some memories. We used to go into NYC every Friday in a 74 Blazer my friend had with 44" tires and a lift kit. Parking was a ***** so we came up with a solution for it and never got caught a bottomless steel trash can to put over a fire hydrant and grey spray paint for the curb, worked like a champ! We were BAD BOYS!

What heads you leaning towards Chris?

Sidewinder heads from Marsh performance. Made in NC, not a lot of people are running them but those that do seem to have good reviews, essentially the same as edlebrock rpms but each head is custom built to your engine specs and come with valves and valve springs from Isky to match the cam you run. They do a cns gasket match job and all the above for 1175 shipped. Each head is personally inspected by the owner, who used to be the head specialist for Penske Dodge racing program before dodge left nascar a few year back.
good stuff Chris

yep, now for the trans
