Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yesterday I was playing in the dirt, have about 2/3 of the load spread hoping the rain doesn't turn it to mud before I get it final prepped/seeded.

You could order a 440 in a 1/2 ton truck in the late 70’s. Know a guy locally that had one with a 9.25 rear end. I owned a non-running 1978 that was a factory 440 truck. Had a Dana 44 front and an 8.25” rear-not sure if that was original or not. Regardless, I ran a 9.25 in my old mud truck with 39.5 Super Swampers on it and never had a problem. They’re a pretty stout axle.
39.5 Swampers and a 9.25, throttle on, sounds like a hoot in a mud truck!

Looking thru some of the containers Ken has on his property, Under a inch of dust he has a Edsel station wagon that looks in good shape, How many can still be around? Seriously tempting to throw a offer on it after I get the stove issue done if I can afford it.

I have a GM 14 bolt FF in my Burb, has a 10.5 inch ring gear but also big brakes/shoes which worked good for stopping a rig outfitted with 37's towing a trailer. I've since downsized it, swapped the 6 inch springs and 37's for 4 inch and 33's, wife can more easily get in/out now and rides much better, Bilsteins are helping with that.

Orders over $200 qualify, 30% off is great, didn't take long poking around to come up with things I needed to make it to that number lol!

Morning!
Sun isnt up yet, just heard a few trucks heading west across the bridge, busy time for gravel hauls and heavy equipment moves.
Looks like rain this afternoon. Have to put some stuff away today i think.
