Some boards out and area cleaned up. Break time for a while till that dries up a bit.
I'm hoping to get at a similar repair and replacement this fall. Looks good

Done for today I think. I’ll keep swapping some each year till the whole thing is redone. Then power wash and sand and finish with the cedar color. Still planning to do the main steps and some boards on the lower deck. I think I have 20 8fts there for that. Needs to be good and dry for finish, so even the new steps probably not getting stain/finish till Spring.

My oldest and his girl are leaving for London the end of the week. He is going to propose there when the time is right. It sounds like we are going out to eat with them tonight.

Got the Chevelle wiper motor and washer almost sorted out. Had to scab some parts from old wiper motor.
Then buddy’s 1969 gmc in to get front end finished up,march was the last time it was touched. Soon we can hang some sheet metal back on the front end.

I haven't heard how much but I hear it pays well. Dumb kid never got his degree in college but he worked his way up the ladder without it. He's got his mom's smarts! LOL
But I bet he got his smarts on selling from his old man.
Just some mechanical ability. LOL Both my kids understand the technical stuff and have mom's smarts to get it done. Mom is smart but doesn't have any smarts for anything technical.
