So I need help. The previous owner stripped out the screws that hold the passenger rear arm rest on, think I should just drill them out
Can't you just re tap the holes.

Can you get a vise grip on the heads and pull while you turn?

The philips heads are completely rounded out, can't get vice grips to them. I may just get the sawzall and cut between the panel and arm rest
Are the heads exposed or recessed?

Drill the heads off.

That's what I'm thinking, I tried my screw extractor and the screws are either rusted in too much or the metal too soft, the extractor just spun out

short of trying to drill the heads off, I can't imagine how you're going to get them off of there without destroying them

use a punch to make a centering hole so the drill bit goes up the center of the screw - try to use bit that is just slightly smaller than the shank of the screw..
