Stop in for a cup of coffee

Karl, who do you use for insurance if it is classic? There is a thread on this right now and seems there is a split between Haggerty and Grundy.

By the way, ordered my door sills from Layson's (forum sponsor).

Talk about GREAT customer service!
Called me personally when I had a question.
PM me when received my payment.
E mailed me when shipped - with tracking information!

Layson's is awesome!

I use Grundy, $107 a year full coverage, $7.000.00 coverage.

I'm with Progressive right now.

The oldest son had a "bad spell" with tickets and accidents a couple of years ago, and State Farm dropped us. Luckily, he's doing much better now and some of the "hits" are dropping off.

I get multi car and homeowners discounts that help apply this way...

I have them also, 12k coverage, stacked liability, 100 mi towing and 2 k in spare parts and the best unlimited mileage! 260 for the year, wonder how much it will go up when I tell them it has a 440?

I just posted a shout out thread for Rick this morning about my experience. :D

He's good to deal with and we get to support a vendor that supports our site....

Maybe post about your experience in that thread also, so other members will use them...

Why tell them???

What they don't know won't hurt you.... :D

What do they charge for a classic? Just curious. My other cars and the house are under Donnegal here. They wanted a lot to add the dart with full coverage.

I don't know for sure.

The agent has to keep adding and subtracting to get the quote, and it's hard to isolate which is costing what...

I don't have full coverage on it, as I know if we get in an accident they will just say that the car is not worth **** and try to buy us off with a couple hundred dollars. The increase in the rate to go full coverage is much more than they will give you for the car, so I just get liability on them if they are not mint condition and worth $$$...

I've been through this before. :violent1:

Don't use Infinity insurance. They gypped me out of 4k of value when I totalled my other truck 4 years ago. The agent could not up the settlement because my truck was in mint condition, so I just got the value of an "average" one. :finga: :finga: :finga:

So I dropped them and went with Progressive....

Yes, he's getting some responsibility now.

I was worried when the wife was pregnant with him that I'd have to grow up before him.... :pale:

So far, he hasn't passed me....

We got our plastic rivets in the mail from Layson's yesterday...

Now we can get the driver's window of the wagon secured again.... Yoo Hoo...

Karl, this is (late FABO member) Bruce's wagon, right? Good to see it's serving a new generation of do-it-yourselfers. He would be very pleased, I know he patiently helped a lot of members here.

Tomorrow is the monthly Cars n Coffee, camera is being charged up, there's quite a bit of money residing out here, bringing unusual cars. Mostly I'd like to see the Mopar guys, '66 Cuda and '68 4 speed Fury.

Been a tough week, we all have them, moving right along...

Sorry about the tough week for you David.

I have to go run around with the youngest kid. He needs to apply for a motorcycle permit for his new motorcycle...

Then pick up a battery for it...

Then get insurance so he can drive it without the neighbor being able to call the cops on him....

He's practicing riding it in the yard now, the neighbor is already pissed!!! F*ck him...
