Always thought they were cool little cars.
My Dad had an MG , he bought while we were stationed in Vienna Austria. It was a 64 MG 1100. . A 4 door car with a transverse mounted 1100 cc engine. Very similar , if not exactly like an Austin Marina of the same vintage. Pretty cool little car. He brought it back to the States in 67. When I was 15, I pulled the engine out of it and rebuilt it. Popped my Cherry. First one. He made me read the repair manual before he let me do it. It ran, but only after I figured out that I had the Dizzy out by 180 deg.:rofl::rofl:

The oldest brother of our next door neighbors had an MG and a Triumph back in the days when he was in high school...

Let's just say that he went through a few cars back in those days....

the whiskey drought has ended! Came home today to fresh bottle of Buffalo Trace (and a bottle of vodka as well).. And she grilled steaks with fried okra and some zucchini patties.. not a bad way to kick off Wednesday night. except that it's 98 degrees and i got to do the lawn thing...
