Stop in for a cup of coffee

I agree! I tried to get up to the midway and never made it
I was going to get some Mcguires stuff at their trailer/display. Figured it would be really good deals. Not really. I think most of it is close or even cheaper at Advanced Auto, Pep Boys... You would think for events like this it would be wholesale pricing/more of an advertising write-off? There are others selling it there, some slightly cheaper. Maybe they don't want to undercut their distributers? To me, not worth dragging the stuff around.

Hope to make it next year. My wife was surprised I didn't go this year. (which surprised me) She's a pretty good sport about me doing the car thing. She's not into it but she's ok with me having that hobby. She has a good time with all my Mopar buddies when we get together.

It happens a bike shows. A company called Kuryakyn who manufactures tons of parts for Harleys shows up at shows with a tractor trailer and a dozen bike lifts and starts installing exhaust systems for less then the dealers can even purchase the exhaust system for. Not good for supplier/ shop relations and quite a few shops have dropped them.

For the Duster...pair of wiper arms, trunkmat, hogrings and pliers to put my seat cover on. Plus I got exhaust pipes and muffler from Mitch. I was trying to get it situated to carry out and one of them said tape the pipes together. So here comes Hoppy with duct tape. I was right to be scared!. He puts one wrap around the pipes and starts to circle me with it. :realcrazy:

Let's wrap him in duct tape and turn him into a gray worm.... :poke:

I love that every stupid behavior now has a name (and a pill for it). My former boss was said to be bipolar and needed medical treatment. i think he was just an asshole and a good old fashioned *** whooping would have modified his behavior just fine!

and they wonder why people are abusing prescription drugs when they try to diagnose everybody with a disorder and put them on drugs.... :realcrazy:

Here's the shorter version, but I recommend watching it from the beginning to get the whole background to the story...

So this is one of the mopars the old guy I got the blocks and tester from had. 1970 superbee, 383 with a 440 crank , 11:5 compression he said he's owned it for 41 years.

A 383 with a 440 crank is a 426 wedge....

Both the 383 and 426 wedge are 4.25" bore, the only difference is the stroke... 383 is 3.375" (3 3/8") stroke, and 426 is 3.75" (3 3/4") stroke...

I am trying to back read from just last night....this thread never rests!

Ya gotta leave posts that you can go back to and know where you left off...

Otherwise it takes forever just to find how far back you missed, then read forward again.... :BangHead:

Yeh, I don't think most people who have never been there get it... Just so much MOPAR in one spot!!! I just get lost in it all. Really didn't need much, but walked most of the swap aisles. Love looking at all the stuff people bring. I might have seen 10% of the cars there. Didn't even go up on the hill.

Sounds like me at Mopar nats...
