Stop in for a cup of coffee

We have Trannies where I work. And we the tax payers foot the bill.

I bet we could have been maybe 18" higher if we had built it up on boards and rocks
You know Hoppy...you worry me....Why did you let me talk you into that? You could have gotten us hurt.

Hell just empty beer cans would have done it. Doubt the new guys have a clue. You got the pumping pic? Dam that would have made a great stupid thread. WHAT DO WE DO NOW?

The good ones have to copy them of you in the bucket Classic my friend classic!

I liked the welding without the helmet. That was like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard only with sight

Can we look here or do we have to go to the blue pages....
Here a a couple Mitch has the good ones, you get the idea. I got a lift from OMR and it went from there!

Wait. Gonna do mine (cable shift) at the same time. Mine is supposed to work. But im not interested in installing something i know will leak. And i want to see how these cables work. Park cable is stuck.
Be very careful taking that apart. Drop the pan and remove the exterior parking cable housing. Those cables are very fragile these days and nearly impossible to find to replace them.
Do they have the same internals like the same roster tails and is just the shift mechanism different? Just curious.
Yes and No. the roster tails are completely different. Valve body is different on pushbuttons and pushbuttons have a rear pump/drum as where 66-later 727s have just the front. Also, the input shaft spline count is different. It's a finer threaded shaft. Pushbutton trans use a 24 spline input. 67 and later use a 19 if I recall right. There's also a couple extra bushings and gaskets inside the pushbutton. Also, the push button uses a two hole filter versus a single hole in later 727s. Case on cable shifted are different as well.

That's about the only thing we do not have here is a transmission guy!
i suppose I'm fully intending on fulfilling that roll. I've done several manual transmissions but only 1 727(71 big block) and a couple hydrostatic transmissions.

I do wish you guys were closer, but then again maybe you are just the right distance>>>>>>:poke::lol:

Mike: What am I to do with this rope.
Wolfie: Don't you worry about it...Just don't let go of that rope.
Hoppy: Are you sure this will work?
Tike: I have no idea ....how much higher can this go?
Mitch: (not seen...taking pictures) What a bunch of dumb asses and here I am getting it all on film. No one will believe me when I tell them.
